Françoise and Joël offer a warm welcome in an old farmhouse just 20 minutes from La Flèche zoo. For your entertainment, there's a table tennis table, a petanque area and board games. Our sleeping areas are equipped with a fridge, microwave and kettle. Breakfast is served on the large dining room table. Each room is individually decorated, with an assortment of antiques and second-hand furniture. The staircase from the dining room leads to the private corridor in the family room, which leads to the two bedrooms: La Sapinière, with a double bed and a bunk bed, and the Tulipe, with a double bed. Ideally situated between Angers and Le Mans, right next to the Château de Durtal, this flat is ideal for a stopover of a few nights (or more if you feel like it) to discover the treasures of our region. Visit Durtal castle (just below the flat!) in season, the Marcé aeronautics museum 15 minutes away, walk or cycle along the Loir near Baugé-en-Anjou or Seiches-sur-le-Loir, visit La Flèche zoo 20 minutes away. Angers, with its Château des Ducs d'Anjou (and its famous Apocalypse painting), historic town centre and Terra Botanica plant park, is 30 minutes away. For motor sport fans, the Le Mans 24-hour race circuit is 40 minutes from the gîte. The gîte is accessed from the bottom of the Château de Durtal via a staircase of around twenty steps leading up to a pleasant garden. On the ground floor, the flat opens onto a living room with a dining area, a sitting room with a 140cm x 190cm sofa bed, a TV (not visible in the photos), a non-functional fireplace and a study area. From this room, you can access the fully-equipped kitchen (oven, 2-burner hob, table-top fridge, microwave, etc.). The staircase leads upstairs to a large 23 m² bedroom with a 140cm x 190cm bed and an extra bed for a child, a study area and a bathroom with bath and WC. On sunny days, take advantage of the magnificent 2000m² garden, shared with the tenants of the other two flats, from which you will have an uninterrupted view of part of Durtal castle. Garden furniture is provided. Shared laundry room with two other apartments: washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-fi internet connection. All you have to do is put your bags down and enjoy your stay: beds are made on arrival, towels are provided and end-of-stay cleaning is included. In the 19th century, during the industrial revolution, bricks and mortar were replaced by concrete as the premier building material. Against this potentially bland construction form, the artist Isidore Odorico sought to bring a decorative style that on the ‘Maison Bleu’ included elaborate mosaics… characteristic of art deco!

The campsite is just 400 m from the town centre, which is home to the imposing Château des Comtes d'Anjou. In the heart of the Loir Valley, close to the Loire and Sarthe valleys, ideal for cycling and hiking. Away from all traffic, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of our site with your family or friends. For anglers, there's direct access to the River Loir (fishing permit available on site). As for accommodation, the campsite offers bare pitches (for tents, caravans, camper vans, etc.), as well as a wide choice of rental accommodation: mobile homes, coco sweet, tithomes, canvas bungalows, caravans and a 14-bed gite spread over almost 3 hectares of wooded parkland on the banks of the River Loir. Quiet, but not boring. You'll find a wide choice of things to do in the surrounding area for all the family. Reading and board games are available. No need to pack your house! The on-site library offers this service. Bikes can be hired on site. Of course, cycling is a must (the Loir Valley cycle route, the Durtal greenway, etc.). Maps are available on site. The wifi will allow you to share your most beautiful moments with your friends and family. A skate park is located 300m from the campsite for stunt riders. Other facilities will add to the programme of your stay: pétanque, trampoline, table tennis, playground, games room....
