The HIARAKA association and the theatre company La Cerise sur le Tréteau present a comedy that is as funny as it is socially conscious, tracing with humour and emotion the evolution of women’s status across four generations.
On stage, three women take the spotlight in turn, from mother to daughter. Through their stories, choices and struggles, they examine the legacy passed down to them and the progress achieved over the decades. Alongside them, Simone, the show’s master of ceremonies, engages the audience with a mischievous touch and offers a perspective on the history of women’s rights that is as sharp as it is compassionate.
Fast-paced, moving and full of humour, this show offers an accessible and inspiring perspective on a subject that remains as relevant as ever.
