Walk around the Deux-Sèvres Tramway A 1.6 km walk allows everyone, tourists and inhabitants alike, to relive the Tramway des Deux-Sèvres (TDS) in its preserved space through an exhibition of 16 large paintings in the open air. This research work of the 3A thus exposed makes relive this industrial parenthesis which functioned from 1898 to 1939. The line linked Bressuire to Montreuil-Bellay, 62 km apart, passing through many towns including the Argenton station. Other panels (15) around the cemetery show the local life from old postcards unpublished. Tramway line built between 1892 and 1898. 62 km long, it linked Bressuire to Montreuil Bellay with its station in Argenton-Château ... The TDS went through Argentonnay, passing through La Coudre, Le Breuil-sous-Argenton and Ulcot.

One of the easiest cycling stages, heading from Bressuire to Nueil-Les-Aubiers along the old Bressuire–Nueil-Les-Aubiers railway line, which criss-crosses and overlooks the Bressuire bocage, offering 360° views. From this greenway, you can see the old Voultegon station. You can even take a short detour to the Voulmentin picnic area (Voultegon district). After this break, continue on to Nueil-Les-Aubiers, staying on the greenway. - Bressuire: Notre-Dame Church and its 56-metre-high bell tower. - Nueil-Les-Aubiers: crossed by two rivers, the Scie (centre) and the Argent (south).

Etang de Beaurepaire is a man-made pond dating back to the 14th century, with a surface area of around 60 hectares, located in the communes of St-Maurice-Etusson (79) and Cléré-sur-Layon (49). It is part of a complex of ponds in the northern Deux-Sèvres region, particularly in the Argentonnais area, home to eleven Zones Naturelles d?Intérêt Faunistique et Floristique. It is bordered by remarkable plant formations that support a very rich flora: submerged buttercup and pondweed beds, floating water lily beds, annual vegetation of exposed shorelines, bulrushes (Joncs, Carex, etc.), varied reedbeds, wet meadows and woodlands. This remarkable succession of plant communities is closely linked to the presence of shallow banks that are regularly flooded by seasonal fluctuations in water levels.
