From the gîte, escape to Mont Saint Michel, just an hour and 15 minutes away by car. Professional stay: 5 people maximum (5 beds and 3 bedrooms) - Cleaning compulsory 1 per stay from 1 to 14 nights. Created by Malcolm Forbes, this museum tells the story of hot-air ballooning.

Built in 1631 by the architect François Mansart, the Château de Balleroy was owned by the Balleroy family until it was purchased by Malcolm S. Forbes in 1970. Visits of the castle grounds. Visit in French or English lasts 45 minutes.

This long 650m2 garden, with gentle lines, is divided into several themed plots. Amidst its hardy and climbing plants, thrive over 100 old rose varieties found in former gardens, very few of which are remontant, in purple and pastel hues. A second garden was recently created, boasting old Norman rose varieties, planted within a floral vegetable garden. Guided tours on request.

Pearl of Roman Art, this magnificent abbey was founded in 1032 by Duke Robert the Magnificent. With its apse of 15 bays and 3 levels combining refinement and brightness, the Abbey is unique in Normandy. Another masterpiece is the 14th century Abbot's chapel, reminiscent of the Sainte Chapelle in Paris.

Parish church from the Middle Ages to 1812, then included in the parish of Bérigny before becoming a private chapel in 1845. Parts of the chapel date from the medieval period and the chancel with altarpiece from the 18th century. Included in the national register of designated ancient monuments.

This site, in the immediate vicinity of the abbey, offers an aesthetic balance between architecture and nature. National and international sculptors are invited to participate in the biennial symposium.

Les Rochers, an imposing 4-century-old manor farm in Cerisy-la-Forêt, in the middle of the fields, has been lovingly renovated into a sumptuous guest house and loft. In the gîte, antique Art Deco furniture combines beautifully with other unique pieces of wrought ironwork designed by the owner and made by a local craftsman. 2 skylights flood the loft with light. The former hen houses have been converted into a library brimming with beautiful books. The refined style and sober materials highlight the life-size colourful paintings. A little gem!
