Cycling loop starting from Magnac-Bourg. This loop owes its name to the various major roads that it follows over short distances (D420 and D82) or that pass nearby such as the A20. A hiking trail passes through the hamlet, and there are some 30 signposted paths in the Briance Sud Haute-Vienne region. A few km away: Cécile Sabourdy museum and gardens, Maison du Père Castor, small heritage and archaeological site.

The hamlet of Duris, a former pottery village near Magnac-Bourg, is the birthplace of finials. They owe their existence to the presence of a vein of clay, still mined by tile-makers. The finials resemble ornate jugs placed at the junction of the four roof slopes to protect the structure from the elements. An outward sign of wealth, finials also ward off evil spirits and spells.

Originating from the Rohan family's former granary (13th century). Located at the corner of the square, it was transferred to this house around 1900. The houses behind the pharmacy were built in the moat of the former Château de Magnac. Behind these houses stood the castle tower, of which only a few scattered stones remain.

The oldest house in Magnac (1601). Located on the corner of the old Route Nationale 20 and Rue Paul Renaudie. Two small square towers stand at the corners of the slate roof. The house once belonged to the Templar Order. Pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela used to stop here for rest and refreshment. Later, the house was used as a post office. A superb granite fireplace features a scallop shell.

This pure Gothic church (15th century) is the only one in Haute-Vienne to be dedicated to Saint Jacques le Majeur. Built on the ruins of the castle chapel in the 15th century, you'll notice that the church has gone through several construction periods (13th, 15th and 19th centuries). The church is most famous for its late 15th-century stained glass windows. They decorate the 3 bays of the apse and are surmounted by a trilobe on 2 trefoil arches. The saints are depicted on the left, the apostles in the center and the holy women on the right. Admire the main altar and altarpiece, an 18th-century gilded wooden piece with twisted columns, niches and statues, as well as twelve granite pedestals adorned with angels in the choir wall.

Built during the first half of the 18th century and completed in 1745. The tower was added in 1900. Acquired in 1815 by Athanase Martin de la Bastide, it is still the property of the same family.

The good fountain of "Pierre Brune" is always much visited, both for children's illnesses and for rheumatism. Every year on May 1st, the fountain is blessed. A festival is celebrated on this day, "La fête de l'églantine".
