Saint-Fraimbault is a town of reference, recognised both nationally and internationally and has received regular awards since 1965 when the first flowers were planted. Megaliths are large stone monuments erected during the Neolithic period (between 4,500 and 2,500 B.C.) Different types can be seen in the area : – Standing stones : Le Perron and la Châtaigneraie… – Dolmens : Le Creux… – Long barrows : Table au Diable, la Bertinière, les Cartésières. – Cists (coffin-like graves) : Pi de Chien Any megalith has a legend attached to it. In 1475, King Louis XI founded the parish of Conception Notre-Dame in Passais. It already existed as a place of prayer. In 1852 a chapel was built to honour Notre Dame after a miraculous healing. A number of healings occurred and pilgrims converged to the site, with a second chapel being built in 1857. A third chapel was erected between 1924-1927, decorated by a painter from Mantilly, a near town. It relates the Passais history, of its founding by the evangelist monks until the representation of priests and bishops in XX century.

The Rousseau family welcomes you to the farm to taste the good farm products (cider, perry, milk) and discover the life of the farm in simplicity, authenticity and conviviality. In an authentic 16th century peasant house, the Rousseau family invites you to discover a farm combining tradition and modernity with its herd of Norman cows, its orchards for the production of cider and perry, its farmyard with various species of poultry. You will be able to attend the milking around 5:30 pm.

For 4 generations, we've been making traditional Normandy charcuterie, including our flagship product: "La Véritable Andouille de Vire". Our boutique offers direct sales of our products, as well as a selection of local Normandy products. Visit our workshop, where we make our own handmade, wood-smoked Andouille de Vire. Reservations required (5 people or more). Product tasting after video and guided tour. Length of visit: approx. 1h30, adjustable to suit your requirements.

Savigny Abbey has been completely restored to its former glory, and is now open to visitors, who can follow an interpretive trail introducing the history of the site, the ruins and the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you'll discover a model of the Abbey retracing its former splendor. To complete the tour, a discovery flyer is available from the Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët Tourist Office. Guided tours are organized in summer or on request.

As organic farmers, the Fourmond family warmly welcome you to their beautiful, tastefully renovated family property. As you immerse yourself in the farm, you'll have the chance to get to know the many animals, help milk the cows and take a walk in the woods and by the river. Lark, warbler and swallow are the names of the two double bedrooms and the family room with mezzanine, all with en suite shower rooms. There is a communal living area, kitchenette, terrace and outdoor play area. Breakfast includes organic produce from the farm.

This former bougeois dwelling, dating from the 18th century, and restored with care, is located in Saint Denis de Gastines. Christine Monnier welcomes you in a pleasant setting.
