Mégalithes du Pays de Domfront

Megaliths are large stone monuments erected during the Neolithic period (between 4,500 and 2,500 B.C.) Different types can be seen in the area :
– Standing stones : Le Perron and la Châtaigneraie…
– Dolmens : Le Creux…
– Long barrows : Table au Diable, la Bertinière, les Cartésières.
– Cists (coffin-like graves) : Pi de Chien
Any megalith has a legend attached to it.
