Voyager dans l'histoire Take the Pierre Forgas quay then the Fanal quay. Continue opposite on Arago Street which passes in front of the Notre-Dame de Bonne-Nouvelle church. Continue on the street then go up on rue de la Mirande. In a bend, go up to the left on the path that leads to the garrigue, then descend to the right to go up towards the Anse de la Mauresque. Go around the blockhouse on the right and go down to the Medical Institute "La Mauresque". Continue on the road then turn right. Go along the sidewalks for a few meters, along the D914. Go down to the right on The Oli cove. Go up towards the houses. Take the slope, descend to the right and pass under a bridge. Turn immediately left and continue straight to pass under a porch and head towards the next cove. Go around the creek by the path that goes up towards the sidewalks that continue to Collioure following the D 114. In Collioure, take the promenade along the coast. Go around the royal castle and take a footbridge on the right. Continue towards the beach and the church.

This hike starts from Port-Vendres and takes place on the site of Cap Béar where sublime views of the coast await you. Departure: Tourist Office of Port-Vendres. Head towards the Jetty, circumnavigate the harbor following the coastal path markings. Upon reaching the cove of the jetty, take the right path leading up to Fort Béar. Traverse after the rocky passage onto the trail towards the vineyard path. Turn left and proceed to Mas Valcros (Mas Pams). At the Bernardi beach, continue along the coastal path towards the beach and the Paulilles site. After the parking area, cross the railway track and follow the path to the Pont de l'Amour residential area. Return to the center of Port-Vendres by passing under the train tunnel, then turn right. Descend via the Strategic Road.

A walk along the buried water pipes, dating back to 1890. These pipes connected the water sources of Port-Vendres and supplied the municipality for over a century. Stunning viewpoints of Port-Vendres and Collioure. Depart from the Tourist Office. Turn left and climb the steps towards Place de la Castellane, then head towards the SNCF train station. Turn right onto Chemin du Val de Pintes. Leave Chemin du Val de Pintes to ascend to the right towards Fort Saint Elme. Take a detour to see the Fort. Go left onto the trail parallel to the paved road, then return to the road, admire Fort Dugommier, and head towards Coll d'en Raixat. At the Col, take the left path until reaching a small paved road, then turn left. Leave the road to take up a path. After a few dozen meters, return to the road to reach Col de Perdiguer. From the col, descend to the left on the old mule track of Port-Vendres until reaching the Pont de l'Amour housing estate. After crossing the D914, head left towards the train station, then back to the Tourist Office.

Head towards Cap Béar and the most beautiful coves of the Vermilion Coast. Starting from the Tourist Office towards the Customs building and the Clock Tower, passing along Quai de la République. At the roundabout, continue along Quai de la République and after the railway tracks, turn left towards the next roundabout. In front of the gendarmerie, take the road towards La Jetée and head towards Redoute Béar and Redoute Mailly. Climb to the right through the vegetation, cross the small road, and continue climbing on the path that ascends above the Cap Béar road. Reach the Semaphore and descend towards the coves and Sainte Catherine Cove following the trail markers. After several coves and vineyards, follow alongside Bernadi Beach and ascend past a bunker. Descend to Paulilles Beach site.

Breathtaking landscapes and military defense sites between two sublime seaside resorts on the Vermeille coast. From the Tourist Office and follow the quai françois Joly on the left, bypass the port by the Quai de la République. Stay on this quay after the roundabout. Take a left after the railway track and arrive at avenue du Maréchal Leclerc. At the roundabout take the first exit, route de la jetée. After the Tamaris beach take the path on the left and follow it passing in front of the Redoute Béar then the Redoute de Mailly. Continue and take the road to Mole Abri. At this point, turn right on the path which goes up to the Cap Béar road, turn left and take a path again on the right which goes up and down on the Cap Béar road in front of the semaphore. Bypass the semaphore area on the left and return to the Cap Béar road, then on the left, go towards the lighthouse. At this point spread over the path which dominates the coast and which arrives at Bernadi beach. After crossing on the Cosprons stream, you will arrive at the cove of Paulilles. Do not hesitate to make a detour on this site, former Nobel dynamite factory. Continue on the path and pass by Fourat beach. After crossing spaces with vineyards, pine forests and coves you will arrive in Banyuls in front of the Hélio-Marin center and continue to the Plage des Elmes. Go up on the Allée des Elmes until the roundabout and go down avenue de Général Koening (D914) which you will follow until the arrival at the Tourist Office.

In the footsteps of the mule drivers. From the Tourist Office, climb the steps to Place de la Castellane. Enjoy a beautiful viewpoint over the bay and the marina. Cross the square in the middle and take Rue des Paquebots, then continue straight on via the double staircase. Once at the top, descend the Strategic Road to reach the parking lot of the SNCF train station. Follow Route de la Gare until you reach the entrance of Val de Pintes, a communal leisure area. Look to your right, where Fort Elme overlooks the ridge ahead. To the left, pass through the tunnel under the railway tracks and reach the D914. Cross the railway and go around the roundabout to the left to head up towards the Pont d'Amour housing estate. In the middle of the hill, take the old stone-paved path on the right, bordered by beautiful dry stone walls, which leads to Col du Perdiguer (120m). Cross the road and continue straight through the vineyard towards Cosprons. Head to the left. Turn left, then take a right after the bridge. Descend back to Port-Vendres via the Pont de l'Amour housing estate.

Continue on the alley facing the square that ends with steps. At the end of the latter, turn right onto the road towards Fort Saint-Elme. Continue towards Fort Dugommier by the marked path to the right of the road that overlooks Collioure Bay. After the Coll Raxat, take the DFCI trail towards the Col de Molloy. Follow the steep trail that runs between 2 signs, go towards la Tour de Madeloc. After reaching Taillefer battery, take the trail towards the Madeloc tower. At the foot of the tower, go down by the tarmacked path to the 500 battery. After a few laces on the road, take the sloping path in the middle of the garrigue towards the Fort de la Galline and the hamlet of Cosprons. From the Fort de la Galline, go down to the hamlet of Cosprons to reach the water tower, starting point of the mule path and pass the dam. Go down the road that crosses the subdivision of Love’s Bridge. Go over the roundabout on the RN 114, follow the railway tracks and then cross through the underpass near the Mas França. Finally, pass the train station  and the Castellane square, you’re back to the tourist Office.

After a few laces on the road, take the sloping path in the middle of the garrigue towards the Fort de la Galline and the hamlet of Cosprons. From the Fort de la Galline, go down to the hamlet of Cosprons to reach the water tower, starting point of the mule path and pass the dam. Go down the road that crosses the subdivision of Love’s Bridge. Go over the roundabout on the RN 114, follow the railway tracks and then cross through the underpass near the Mas França. Finally, pass the train station  and the Castellane square, you’re back to the tourist Office. 

A hike that alternates between sea and mountain, revealing the beauties and riches of the territory. Starting point: Port-Vendres Tourist Office. Head towards the Jetty, following the coastal path signs around the port. When you reach the Jetty Cove, turn right onto the path that ascends towards Fort Béar. After passing through the rocky pass, continue on the path until you reach the vineyard trail. Turn left onto the trail. Continue until you reach Bernadi Beach, cross it, and head towards the second beach (Paulilles Beach). At the far end of the beach, turn right, pass under a small bridge, and cross the Paulilles site (not marked until you reach the Paulilles parking lot). Pass through the tunnel, follow the parking lot, and take a small path on the left. Pass under the bridge and turn right. After 300 meters, take the Col del Mitg path, which leads up to D86a and the village of Cosprons. Turn right (over the bridge) towards Coll de Perdiguer. Take the muleteer’s path. Turn right and then descend to the left. Continue straight ahead. Cross the tunnel and continue towards the train station. After the station, turn left onto the Route Stratégique towards the town center, cross Place de la Castellane, go down the stairs, and arrive back at the Tourist Office.

Discovery of the vineyard above Port-Vendres and the muleteers' path. From the Tourist Office, turn right and go up to Place de la Castellane. Go straight on Strategic Road. Turn right on Chemin du Val de Pintes. Follow the stream. Turn left at the hairpin bend, after a short climb, pass the tunnel of the D914 road. Follow the road to the bend then take the opposite path. Winding path to Coll de Mala Cara. Turn left, then leave the road by taking the path. Ascend on the small road and head towards Col de Perdiguer, take the left path that descends into the vineyards of Rec de Cosprons until reaching the village. Upon reaching the pass, descend to the left on the old mule track of Cosprons until reaching the housing development, then reach the train tunnel. Pass through the tunnel, arrive at the train station, and then return to the Tourist Office via the path taken on the way there.

The Força Vella section of the ramparts was a military construction of decisive importance right from the times of the Roman precint (1bC). During the second half of the 14th century, this defensive rampart was thoroughly rebuilt at the initiative of Peter III the Ceremonious. The medieval fortification rested on the natural rock that rose a few meters above the sandy banks of the river Onyar.  It was an improvement over the old Roman wall which was used as a foundation, made into a double wall or even, in some sections, actually replaced by the new wall. From the early years of the 16th century, the walled precinct was absorbed into the city and the walls, by becoming features actually standing in the city, lost their military defensive value. This situation brought on the star of their deterioration, as parts of the walls were gradually altered from the inside and the outside to meet the needs of the people living alongside the fortification, by which time the former defensive construction had become an enormous party wall.  

Discovery of an exceptional natural environment At an altitude of 850 m, this chasm is about 60m by 30m and is accessible thanks to a platform of vision for a visit in full safety. It is the abyss of both absorption and collapse. The total depth reaches about 110m. This hole was a mass grave. When the horses were at the end of their life, their owner took them to this chasm. We guess then why this hole was prized crows.

One can, without fear of being accused of exaggeration, describe Fontestorbes as "Wonder of the World" and contrary to the seven wonders of the ancient world, all having in common to be the fact of the man, Fontestorbes is the only fruit of the chance of nature. A rare phenomenon and really extraordinary. For most of the year (7 to 9 months), the fountain runs constantly. On the other hand, during periods of low water from July to September, one day, it becomes abruptly intermittent over a complete cycle of about 60 to 90 minutes.

The fountain, once the place of processions and altars, was the village centre of old Mireval which was, according to memory, in a valley where tiles and carved stone was found.

The Frau Gorge is the result of a long geological evolution. The mountain of Frau is an accumulation of secondary folded and compressed tablecloths carved by the glaciations, the strong snows and numerous floods digging the valley in gorges.
