At the Croix roundabout, opposite the Tourist Office, take the subway and go down Boulevard Tabarin, direction ‘Tabarin, Vergeron, Gigaro’. Turn right into Rue de l'Eglise, then take the next turning on the right. At the crossroads, take the footpath opposite on the right, signposted ‘Plage’. Follow the vines on your left. At the crow's feet, take the green lane on your left. After the vineyards, you can take the fitness trail and the botanical trail on the right, or continue straight ahead (the two paths merge). Cross the stream on your left, then take the path on the right between the vines. Cross the other stream and take the track in front of you. At the end of the track, you have two options: 1 - Go back along the same track 2- Turn right onto the footpath. At the roundabout, go past the D-Day car park and take the subway on your right. Immediately to your left, go up the Boulevard de la Mer up to the intersection with the shared lane. Turn right towards ‘Le Village’. After Boulevard de Thaiti, take the pavement on the right. Follow the children's square on the right and continue straight on until you reach the Tourist Office.

At the roundabout, opposite the Tourist Office, take Boulevard Tabarin down towards "Tabarin, Vergeron, Gigaro". Turn right into "Rue de l'Eglise" and then take the next turning on the right. At the crossroads, take the footpath opposite on the right, signposted "Plage". Follow the vines on your left. At the crow's feet, take the green lane on your left. Cross the stream on your left, then take the path on your right between the vines. Cross the other stream and take the track in front of you. When you reach the Plage du Débarquement, return to the roundabout and take the Boulevard de la Mer (opposite you, to the left of the Intermarché supermarket) as far as the intersection with the dual carriageway. Turn right towards "Le Village". After the Boulevard de Tahiti, you'll find the picnic and cycle area. Walk along the children's square on the right and continue straight on until you reach the Tourist Office.

An Itinerary to discover the history and architectural heritage of the town between village and nature. On the edge of the vineyard, enjoy the view and the coastal path, (re)discover the beaches of Sylvabelle, Héraclée and Vergeron. Follow the blue signs. At the Croix traffic circle, opposite the Tourist Office, take the underpass, then go down Boulevard Tabarin towards “Tabarin Vergeron Gigaro”. Turn left onto Boulevard des Villas. Just before the bridge, turn right. At the intersection, take the pedestrian lane towards “Les Plages”. Follow the vineyard. At the crosswalk, cross over and turn right. After the bus stop, take the second left, Allée de la Bouillabaisse. Just before the Village Vacances de Vitry sur Seine, take the path on the left. Follow the yellow markings and “Sentier du Littoral” signs. Take the first staircase on the left. Pass the Vergeron and Sylvabelle beaches. At Plage d'Héraclée, take Impasse d'Héraclée. Follow the blue signs. At the end of the impasse, turn left onto Boulevard du Littoral. You'll once again be skirting the Croisien vineyards. Follow the pedestrian lane. At the Sylvabelle traffic circle, continue straight ahead. At the next junction, turn right onto Boulevard Tabarin. Follow the pedestrian lane. Take the same route back to the village.

A hike starting at the village, allowing you to discover the Croisien vineyards and forest. It connects to the GR 51 trail which offers magnificent views of the Gulf of Saint Tropez. Go up the Rue Louis Martin. At the top, turn left into Rue Frédéric Mistral, direction “CCE Air France”. 50 m after the winery, take the path that climbs up on your left. At the gate, enter the vineyard, turn right and walk along the fence to the embankment (walking in the vineyard is strictly forbidden). Follow the path on your right (difficult climb). At the top, take the track in front of you. At the junction with the GR51, with the green tank in front of you, turn left. After the reservoir, turn left, then left again at the crossroads 50 m further on. After a long, steep descent, take the path on the right towards the winery. Return to the village.

Between village and nature, here is a flowery and colorful walk to do in January & February when the mimosas are in season ! There are panoramic views of the hills and the sea-side view will take your breath away. Drive up the Rue Louis Martin. Turn right at the tabacco shop and take the Route du Brost in the direction of the “Gendarmerie”. After the gendarmerie, take the footpath on the left. After the stadium, follow the path to the left. At the asphalt road, turn left downhill. Turn right at “La Galiasse”. Follow the asphalt road over the small bridge. Leave “La Colline des Sarrasins” on your left. Pass “Les Mas de la Galiasse” (on your right). Turn left down the Corniche de la Pinède. At the bottom of the Corniche, cross the road and turn right. Turn left into Allée des Cassis. At the villa “Les Elephants” (on your left), take the 3 steps and the path on the right. At the asphalt road, turn left. Follow the signs to “Le Village”. At the La Croix traffic circle, take the underpass back to the Tourist Office.

In La Londe les Maures, facing the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros Located at the tip of the rocky spur of the Argentière and Pellegrin beaches, in a totally protected area. The coastal underwater world can be discovered on the surface, with fins, mask and snorkel by anyone who can swim. By following the numbered buoys equipped with handrails you will discover the underwater panels presenting the ecosystem. At depths ranging from 0 to 4 metres, there is a wide variety of underwater landscapes (posidonia meadow, cymodocae, rocks, sand, scree...), inhabited by numerous species of fish, molluscs, crustaceans, starfish... The posidonia meadow: this is not a seaweed but a plant with marine flowers. Posidonia plays a very important role in fixing the sandy bottom, thanks to its roots which form a sort of barrier called the "matte" when they mix with the sediments. A real "lung" of the Mediterranean, this plant has been protected since 1988. The underwater trail can be explored on your own from June to September, following the numbered buoys. This fine sandy beach was one of the key sites of the Provence Landings for the liberation of France in 1944. This is a wide beach, ideal for family holidays. The beach is supervised by lifeguards from June to September (variable hours depending on season) and you can get there with the free shuttle bus from mid-June to mid-September. Deï Barri's orientation table gives you a remarkable view of Gassin. The panorama that extends in front of you reveals the Golden Islands (Port-Cros, Levant and Bagaud), the bay of Cavalaire and a large part of the peninsula of Saint-Tropez. This orientation table was created and installed in 2017. It completes the tourist system of Gassin, a village famous for its views from the 19th century, to the north with the orientation table of the tourist office, to the south with this one and to the west with the terrace which allows you to admire the Massif des Maures and the plain, where stands the castle of Grimaud.

The Androuno is the narrowest street of the World : at its narrowest point, tt measures 29 centimeters wide (11.41 inches), letting only one person pass at a time! It presents all the picturesque charm of the perched village of Gassin. Gassin has the "smallest street in the world", the Androuno. Its name comes from the Latin 'andron', derived from the Greek ἀνδρών, men. He designated among the Greeks a part of the dwellings reserved for men. For Vitruvius and Pliny the Younger, the name characterized a passage between two houses or between two parts of the same house. There are many 'androuno' in Provence. The term has long been attested and has appeared in glossaries and dictionaries since the 18th century. Frédéric Mistral, in his Tresor dòu Felibrige, gives the definition of this word: "alley", "cul-de-sac", "void that separates two houses", or "tower of the ladder", which can also evoke a reduced , a hiding place or a latrine. The androuno can therefore be a narrow and uninviting alley, and therefore reserved for men. This is the theory mentioned by Canon François Durand. According to Claude-François Achard, the androuno is an "alleyway, a place to hide." Consistent with the architecture of Mediterranean villages, these "covered passages provide effective ramparts against the assaults of the mistral, the summer heat wave, the sleet of spring or the snow showers". Today, several more or less fanciful functions are attributed to it: use in counting, or even the selection according to their size, of sheep, allowing the flow of water during severe thunderstorms or preventing the arrival of a man in arms. The street has been recognized as the narrowest in the world by National Geographic, TF1, Ouest France, France 3 among others!

The Porte des Sarrazins was the main entrance to the walls of the medieval fort of Garcin. It was opened in the walls of the ramparts, leï Barri, around the 14th century. Access to this entrance was forbidden by a wooden door and a portcullis called buckwheat. As you walk towards the door, you can see, at the top left, one of the hinges and on the right the location of the planks that allowed it to be closed; above, in the arch, the brick part draws the space which made it possible to descend the harrow. The arch and the right foot inside are in serpentine green-bluish marble from the Massif des Maures and with bosses, a characteristic sign of civil and military architecture in the 14th century. Serpentine was extracted from local quarries; Gassin owned his own, located at the time in his district of Cavalaire. The Porte des Sarrazins is depicted on the enigmatic monument to Saint Joseph at the entrance to the village.
