In the Reyran Valley, discover the tragic story of the Malpasset Dam.
Built in 1954, the dam broke under water pressure in 1959 after heavy rain in the area. Its breakage caused the release of around fifty million square metres cubed of water and killed 423 people.
Today the remains of the dam that were witness to the violent event are still visible. Accompanied by your guide, discover the story of this dramatic event and the consequences it had on the Reyran Valley area in Esterel.

* TO TAKE PART IN THIS TOUR, YOU MUST HAVE A VEHICLE TO BE ABLE TO GET TO THE MALPASSET DAM SITE FROM THE DEPARTURE POINT
* We recommend you wear appropriate attire for the walk and bring water to keep hydrated
* Activity not suitable for people with reduced mobility
Cancellation terms
Cancellations free of charge until 7 days before the activity
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
