Tour of 9km (3:30h) through the vineyard of Dorlisheim where some panels describe the works of the winegrower. The calcareous dry hills propose a big variety of plants, tlike wild orchids. DORLISHEIM’S VINEYARDS The vines cover a succession of south-facing slopes on a clay-chalk soil. Sheltered by the upper Vosges, they have the benefit of a micro-climate. These natural conditions make the land particularly suitable for growing vines, and have enabled Dorlisheim’s winegrowers to develop the full range of Alsace wines. Sylvaner grapes produce a light wine with fruity notes and a freshness in the mouth. Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois vines are planted on the most loamy soils; they produce wines that are supple, generous and easy to drink. Tokay-Pinot Gris is an early maturing variety, used to make extremely high-quality wines that combine a deep bouquet with a powerful, heady structure. Riesling vines are very happy on stony slopes. The grapes produce wines of great elegance with floral aromas and a generous feel in the mouth. These wines have excellent potential for ageing. Gewurztraminer vines are particularly suited to the clay-chalk soils here, producing wines with a fiercely intense bouquet of roses and spices, and a generous, smooth character that expresses itself best after being kept for two or three years. Pinot Noir grapes produce a rosé wine with all the characteristics of Alsace wines.

Circuit of 3 km marked out by explanatory panels - Time: 1h30 Sheltered by the Vosges' hill, the vineyard is implanted on a succession of facing south hillsides enjoying a microclimate. The Riesling Husaren is a light yellow wine with brilliant reflections. After a long period of fermentation, this wine releases brioche-like aromas with a note of acidity. The Muscatel wine Husaren is a dry white wine and very aromatique. The visit of the path is not recommended during the period of the harvesting time.

Museum Gaspar is housed in the residence of the middle-class family Gaspar from Arlon who had set up in this house (1893) that was built in 1842. It was renovated in 2004. The two most famous members of this family are animal sculptor Jean-Marie Gaspar (1861-1931) and Charles Gaspar (1971-1950) who was a photographer and a sponsor. He gave his house to the town of Arlon on the condition they make a museum of it, dedicated to his brother's work and that put into honour the history and the heritage of Arlon. At the first floor, theree are two restored salons identical to a middle-class salon from the early 20th century that show Jean-Marie Gaspar's sculptures. and the art and picture collection of Charles Gaspar. The rest of the first floor is dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the museum that alternates artv and history. A religion room shows collections about the abbey of Orval and to the people's devotion at the 18th century, and also relics from the ancient Saint-Martin church. But the Masterpiece is the famous altarpiece Retable de Fisenne - a 16th century masterpiece from the Antwerp school. It was bought in 1893 by a middle-class family from Arlon, the family Gaspar. Jean Gaspar (1861-1931) was a sculptor. He was trained by the Antwerp sculptor Jef Lambeaux. His works are in bronze and in plaster and they are exhibited in the salons that have been restorated as they were in his house. His brother Charles (1871-1950) was a photographer, a collector and a sponsor. He gave this house to the town of Arlon. It hosts the library of the Archaeological Institute of the Belgian Province of Luxembourg and its secretary office since 1954. A wide part of the museum is also dedicated to temporary exhibitions about art and history of Arlon.

A new adventure game in the region, this is an Action Game. 23 cells to put your logic, fitness and skill to the test. Players must complete a variety of challenges in 2 to 5 minutes. 1 cell = 1 challenge. The aim is to complete as many tasks as possible to score as many points as possible, within a time limit of 1h or 1h30. On the "Rue des Remparts" (Rampart Street), in the gardens of the Château de Brosses, stands a modest 1,85 m (6 ft) gnomonic monument on a 65 cm wide (25.6 in) concrete cylindrical base. A small 10 cm large (4 in) meridional sundial is carved on its Southern side. It is hard to determine its year of creation but it might be from the early 18th century. The renovation of its hour lines and reparation its style are driven by the artistic and historic value of the dial.

If we are to believe the inscription on the vault of the ceiling, this mansion previously owned by the Baron Hervé was built in 1714 and renovated in 1820. Then, under the Second Empire, a cylindrical tower was added to the building. Available activities: ancient board games, for children and adults alike. The castle is not open to the public, except for Heritage Days.

Following the introduction of the Reformation to Dorlisheim in the 16th century, the church was used for Protestant worship until 1685, when Louis XIV instituted simultaneity. This 12th-century building features a triple Romanesque nave, a Gothic bell tower-porch and a choir flanked by two square vaulted chapels. The portal and bas-reliefs on the choir's outer walls are well worth a look. The Rémy Mahler organ is highly original, inspired by Renaissance aesthetics and 17th-century Alsatian organ building. It was created in 2006

It is dated to the Middle Ages and would correspond to an ancient funerary stele erected on a tumulus (500 BC - Final Hallstatt). It is the oldest preserved Celtic monument in our region. On its east side was carved a monolith in the shape of a hook (symbol of the village Altorf), so as the date 1781 which could be the revision year of the communal boundaries.
