Castle Brosse's garden

On the "Rue des Remparts" (Rampart Street), in the gardens of the Château de Brosses, stands a modest 1,85 m (6 ft) gnomonic monument on a 65 cm wide (25.6 in) concrete cylindrical base. A small 10 cm large (4 in) meridional sundial is carved on its Southern side. It is hard to determine its year of creation but it might be from the early 18th century. The renovation of its hour lines and reparation its style are driven by the artistic and historic value of the dial.
