It is 45 minutes south of Paris, in Essonne and in the heart of the Pocancy Forest, that we welcome you, on reservation only. The site is accessible by the RER C, Lardy station located 20 minutes walk from the site (or 5 minutes by bike). You can rent 2 cabins: "Les Rochers" and "Ilex", in the trees, in the heart of the forest where you can enjoy calm, vegetation and fauna. The cabin "Les Rochers" (19 m²) can accommodate 3 people, including 1 or 2 children from 4 years accompanied by an adult. The cabin "Ilex" (19 m²) can accommodate 2 people, including 1 young from 16 years if accompanied by an adult. They are equipped with independent dry toilets, a water reserve of 5 liters and a basin. Discovery and initiation to land yachting on the former air base 217 tracks. Introductions to land yachting, supervised on marked, secured and adapted circuits, are set up on the tracks by state-certified instructors. The driving begins after a few minutes of explanation and material preparation. Richard Piriou established his own poultry farm in 2014, on the family farm in Guillerval in the south of Essonne. Son of farmers, this poultry farmer raises bare-necked chickens, farm guineafowls, as well as capons for the end of year celebrations. All are raised in a natural outdoor setting and wander through a grassy path of several dozen hectares. The farmer also cultivates cereals on part of his farm according to a sustainable agriculture. Richard's poultry are fed with wheat and corn from the farm but also with oilseeds and protein crops. Richard Priou sells his products on the markets of Etampes or Auvers-Saint-Georges (every other Saturday morning) and then on the markets of Guillerval or Saint-Cyr-la-Rivière (every other Saturday afternoon). It is also possible to place an order directly with the breeder and collect the poultry from the farm.

Villeconin Castle was built in the late 14th century by Jean de Montaigu, superintendent of Kings Charles VI finances. This educational farm offers tours during which you can admire more than sixty dairy goats, as well as cows, horses, pigs, donkeys, ponies, the farmyard with its chickens, geese, ducks… Milking goats and cows takes place around 4:00 p.m. The farm also houses the Bois Blanc agricultural museum which will transport you to the past with its collection of items and old tools on agriculture and rural life. The farm produces milk and transforms it into cheeses, cottage cheese, cream, butter. It also sells raw and pasteurized milk.

The Church of the Metropolitan residence of Limours is a church entirely covered with wood and with beautiful interior frescoes, in the style of the Maramuresh region (northern Romania). Unique in France and Western Europe (exept a similar church built in Geneva), the Romanian Orthodox Metropolis Church put in evidence by its architecture, icons, frescoes, forms and colors, the splendor of uncreated light, the peace given by the risen Christ, the transfigured human condition, expression of heaven and new earth, which are already in germ in this life. The church has an iconostasis (bulkhead decorated with images, icons) that separates the Nave from the Heart. The outside is in rough wood and the roof, in bardo.
