Come to meet Tilou, our mascot, to discover the lives of different mountain animals. Marked snowshoe trails are available along the cross-country skiing route. This treasure hunt is suitable for families with children. The track game is accessible with or without the Game Book. This book is available at the Tourist Office and will allow you to have additional games. Throughout the course, you will find explanatory panels with letters that, put back in the right order, will allow you to find the word Mystery (in french). Starting point: Crêt parking of the oven or parking of the Cry. Departure by shuttle from the Tourist Office. Stop at the Cry. (Toboggan run, games area, restaurants). Then take the road that goes up towards Cuchet for 300m. On the left, follow the cross-country ski slopes, which are allowed to pedestrians (avoid walking on the tracks). Two possible routes: green loop and blue loop Snowshoe tour on the cross-country ski route – accessible stroller? Duration: 45 min for green loop – length: 2 km Hiking level: family hike. A pleasant family hike in the old village of Combloux and around the biological lake : Our mountain lake has been created for swimming in a clear, pure water and no chemical products.

Walk from the village, through bucolic paths to the pretty hamlet of Ormaret and its chapel. Mont-Blanc accompanies you throughout the journey! In Ormaret, you will be immersed in a rural atmosphere with many farms still in activity, where modern agriculture rubs the traditional farm.

Pass by "le Chalet de la Vieille" then climb in the forest until the top of Beauregard chairlift. A new part in forest to cross a little clearing will lead you to the top of La Ravine chairlift. After crossing the slope, continue up in the forest to reach the top of Pertuis chairlift, with one of the most stunning panorama on the Aravis, the Fiz and the Mont-Blanc mountain ranges. When to go? All day long...from the slopes opening to their closing. And to go back down? Several slopes possible: the blue slope 'La Croix' for a last forest journey, the red run 'Les Ambourzalles' for sliding pleasure, or if you are playful, you could also be tempted by the 'Blaireau' black slope.....or even the Boarder cross! One way up Beauregard, Pertuis and Jouty chairlifts to reach Croisse-Baulet, an off-piste, not secured and not marked itinerary. The presence of a ski instructor or a mountain guide is highly recommended, particularly when considering an excursion into an 'off-piste' area. Pay close attention to the snow conditions and weather forecasts. Do not forget to take with you an avalanche transceiver (Arva in french), a snow shovel and a probe. Before going, tell someone where you are planning to go. In mountain, each detail has its own importance. Even if the Plan des Dames itinerary is marked, secured and in an area where the avalanche risk is non-existent, make sure you have all the necessary equipment in your backpack. When you are climbing along ski slopes, please stick to the right hand side, and be aware of those around you.

The lake is filled with water sourced from the local drinking water network and is naturally heated by the sun rays. More than 10,000 plants ensure the highest quality of water to the 1900 m² of swimming area. A special flooring helps saving the natural heat of the sun to keep the water's temperature between 19 and 26°C. With a maximum depth of 1.80m and an access via a gentle slope into the water, Combloux ecological lake is the ideal place to spend time with your family. A family-friendly ski area, located between alpine forests and mountain pastures, facing the beautiful Mont-Blanc massif, the Aravis and Fiz ranges. Access is possible from three different villages; Combloux, Le Jaillet (Megève) or La Giettaz. "Les Portes du Mont-Blanc" between 1020m and 1930m of altitude includes the villages of Combloux, Le Jaillet (Megève), La Giettaz, and Cordon (no access by ski). There are 29 ski lifts: 1 gondola, 8 chairlifts, 17 button lifts and 3 magic carpets, giving access to 64 slopes: 8 black, 28 red, 17 blue and 11 green. It also includes 1 boarder crosses, 11 mountain restaurants and 13 restaurants at the bottom of the ski slopes! You will also find 18 picnic spots, 2 indoor picnic rooms (at the bottom of the slopes in Combloux and at the top of Jaillet gondola) and 4 sledge slopes. The ski area is accessible to disabled skiers and has made a variety of improvements to help them exploring the slopes. The Omaret Chapel was constructed in 1495, and dedicated to St Maurice and St Felix, in order to ask for protection of the crops from any hail storms. In order to book a group visit with a Heritage Guide, please contact the Combloux Tourist Office.

This Church was completely rebuilt in 1702, in the Baroque style of the Alps, replacing the previous church which stood in its place since the 15th Century. The Church is dedicated to St Nicolas, saint patron of the traders, sailors and children. The steeple, which was destroyed during the French revolution and was entirely rebuilt in 1828, is remarkable for its stainless steel facing. Inside the Church, the 18th century retable in polychromatic wood was restored by the Beaux Arts in 1970. Both the steeple and the retable are designated historical monuments.

Luxury residence built in the early XXth century, located at the entrance of Combloux. In 1909, a rich Swiss property owner, M. Phyl Provence, ordered the construction of the Mont-Blanc hotel which had 50 bedrooms. This establishment was then purchased in 1923 by the PLM corporation (Paris - Lyon - Mediterranean) which extended it with 200 bedrooms and 60 bathrooms. This residence, with its large reception rooms, its terraces and beautiful columns, its refined cooking and the numerous sports options (golf, tennis, ice skating, and from 1936, its own ski lift!) attracted a wealthy clientele. Five "provincial villas" were designed by the architect Fleury Raillon in the late 1920s, financed by Mr John Lachenal, who was the landscaper of the park surrounding the P.L.M building. Mr Lachenal also ordered the construction of the "Edelweiss" Hotel and the building that eventually became the "Refuge de la Cigogne". As it became private properties, visits are not possible. You can still admire the beautiful exteriors.

Located at the Hermitage, this museum, inaugurated in 2013, is an interpretation centre for the Calvaire site. Built between 1840 and 1878, the Calvary is the work of one man, Father Ambroise Martin (1791-1863), parish priest of Megève from 1820 until his death. Formed of 14 chapels and oratories telling the Passion of Christ, the Calvary site of Megève is a listed historical monument on the additional inventory since 1988. The museum area traces the history of restoration work on the historic monument site, and offers a virtual tour of the chapels. The graphics room features a temporary art exhibition.

The Reverend Ambroise Martin, parish priest of Megève from 1820 until his death in 1863, devoted his faith, his fortune and his strength to what remained his life's work: building a Calvary similar to the one in Jerusalem. Designed and erected between 1840 and 1878, the Megève Calvary was first and foremost the work of one man, Father Ambroise Martin (1791 - 1863), the parish priest of Megève from 1820 to his death. In an idyllic setting, it is composed of 15 chapels and oratories depicting the stations of the Way of the Cross from Jerusalem to Golgotha. The different religious edifices, combining all the architectural styles of the past, are home to about 50 life size painted wooden statues together with frescoes and "trompe-l'oeil" paintings. This combination of architecture, sculptures and paintings evokes astonishingly realistic images of the life and passion of Christ. And in former times this collection of buildings became such an important place of pilgrimage that for a long time Megève was given the name of the "Savoyard Jerusalem". Today it is listed as an Historic Monument, representing a reminder of the past for locals, a pleasant walk for holiday-makers, and offering everyone a wonderful panoramic view over the upper Arly valley and the Mont-Blanc. Important work carried out between 2001 and 2007 has restored the Calvary to its former glory. The chapels and oratories have been carefully restored, both inside and out, and the surrounding grounds landscaped giving the appearance of the the X1Xth century countryside.
