Racine - Roxane Manand

"I grow and collect medicinal and aromatic plants. In total, I have selected about 50 different plants for their tasty and aromatic qualities or their properties. Some are grown organically at my home in Séviscourt while others are harvested wild in pristine, unpolluted areas of our region. The plants are then sorted, dried and trimmed and then combined to make herbal teas, aromatic blends for cooking, plant-flavoured salts and sugars, and edible and decorative flower petals. The whole process is carried out by me, locally and by hand, without chemicals or pesticides."

Brasserie ZEC

The Tripel: A beer that reflects the character of the people who live here: strong, complex and warm. It will delight you with its well-malted flavours enhanced by fruity and slightly spicy notes.La Saison: the grain side is evident, with 4 malts (barley, spelt, wheat and rye) and only 1 hop. This beer has a strength of 5.8° and when tasted chilled (+/- 5-6°, because at less the aromas are killed, which is why industrial beers are served so chilled), sparkling notes, a nice bitterness and fruity notes can be detected. This trio of brewers has other recipes in the pipeline that we should see in the coming months. They also have other projects in the pipeline, including a brewery in the Saint-Hubert region. Business to follow...

La Ferme du Long Pré

The " Ferme du Long Pré" is a small breeding farm. The flock of ewes is of the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse breed, a robust Walloon breed recently saved from extinction. Other ewes, of the Roux Ardennais and Black Welsh breeds, complete the flock, which in summer grazes on Natura 2000 sites in the "Grande Forêt de Saint-Hubert" to conserve wetlands and ecologically preserve open landscapes.Lambs are raised with their mothers on grassland and fed exclusively on grass, a guarantee of quality.Pigs are raised in the open air. Two sows take care of reproduction. They give birth with respect for animal welfare and care for their piglets in a completely natural way.A large vegetable garden completes the offer. The meat processed directly on the farm is sold in the farm shop in packages to order or in frozen cuts throughout the year, depending on stocks.Organisation of picnics with local produce, nature walks and farm visits. Prices according to demand and number of participants.
