Description

Discover the whole valley at your own pace via the Grand Tour de Tarentaise, from two days to several weeks, according to your own plans and the different sectors: Beaufortain/Mont Blanc, Haute Tarentaise, Around La Plagne, Vanoise, Three Valleys, Lauzière.

- Beaufortain / Mont-Blanc: 4 to 5 days, approximately 4,400 meters of ascending elevation.
- Haute Tarentaise: 4 to 6 days, approximately 3,400m of ascending elevation.
- Around La Plagne: 4 days, about 3,400m of ascending elevation.
- Vanoise: 4 to 6 days, approximately 3,600m of ascending elevation.

Entre Le Lac mountain hut

Located in the heart of the Parc de la Vanoise in an old sheepfold converted into a refuge, at an altitude of 2145m, it benefits from a protected environment in the heart of the alpine fauna and flora allowing the observation of large mammals and birds of prey.The refuge is privately run. It is located on the "Tarentaise" side of the Vanoise National Park, on the GR5, at the edge of the PLagne lake, source of the Ponthurin. You will go up between the Mont-Pourri massif, its glaciers and the waterfalls that flow down from it, and the Aliet massif. The GR 5 passes 10 minutes from the refuge and links it to the Col du Palet and Tignes. The refuge is open and guarded permanently from mid-June to mid-September. (no winter refuge). How to get there : - from Peisey-Nancroix and the Parc de Rosuel refuge-gate (car parks, shuttles from Landry - SNCF station and Peisey, refuge, catering, via ferrata), in 2h30 (average time) of walking on a good path on the left or right bank of the Ponthurin, - from Les Arcs and the Mont Pourri refuge (two hours), - from Tignes-le-Lac (3 hours via the Col du Palet refuge), - from the Martin refuge (via the Col de la Sachette or the Tourne), - from the Champagny-en-Vanoise valley (4 hours from the Plaisance refuge via the Plan Séry pass or the Aimes pass). This refuge has a capacity of 40 people and belongs to the commune of Landry. Francis, the muleteer, also offers you his donkeys for hire for your walks. Contact him, 2 km before the Rosuel car park. NB: Dogs, kept on a lead, are allowed from Rosuel to the refuge (but not beyond), provided they climb up the left bank of the Ponthurin. The refuge is ideally situated for mountain fishing enthusiasts, on the banks of the Lac de la Plagne, a beautiful torrent, ideal for fly fishing or fishing for trout and salmon. The hut is a depository for the day fishing cards of the Société de la Gaule de l'Ormente. Fishing is open on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and public holidays; fishing for dead or live fish is prohibited. Rates are different for holders of a fishing permit or not. Open from 19 June to 18 September 2022.

Refuge Bois

The refuge is located next to the Vanoise National Park, reached by car in winter and summer.At Champagny le Haut, this refuge at the entrance of the Vanoise National Park is accessible summer and winter by road (parking nearby - buses 50 places allowed). In winter, the refuge is ideally located at the start of the cross-country ski trails and at 5 km by shuttle from the ski lifts of La Plagne / Paradiski®. Sleeping in dormitories, partitioned for your comfort in "boxes" (cabins closed by curtain) of 4 single bunk beds. Duvets and pillow cases provided. It is recommended to bring your own personal cloth. Sanitary (separation Men / Women) with washbasins and individual showers. Bathroom linen not provided. If it is possible, we award a complete box even if you are 1, 2, or 3 people, without extra charge. Beautiful dining room with 80 seats (+ terrace) Possible access to a pic-nic room. It offers wheelchair access to the dining room and accessible toilets. Graceful loans of an all-way module and 3 audio guides for people with motor and visual disabilities. Accreditation by the Departmental Education of Savoie for the reception of the schoolchildren. Animation / projection / seminar room for 35/40 people, with video-projection equipment Animations offered each summer by the Vanoise National Park. The PARADISKI brand is a registered trademark owned by Compagnie des Alpes-Domaines Skiables. The refuge is located at the end of the road in winter (departure of the cross-country skiing trails) and in the centre of the valley of Champagny le Haut in summer (the road ends 3 km higher). Refuge la Glière

The refuge is guarded from 20/06 to 15/09/2020. Caretaking's end date to be confirmed. In the heart of the Vanoise national park, the guardian welcomes you in an old sheepfold rehabilitated in 1985. Just above the refuge, is the dry lake of La Glière. A lot of marmots. Country lunch, traditional lunch and dinner.Typical refuge (dormitories and rooms for 4 people) but comfort with toilets and hot showers. Outside periods of guarding, the refuge is partially open (12 beds). - Selective waste management and sorting. - Soundproof gas generating set. - Heating with wood stove. - Voltaic photo boards. - WC In this place isolated from everything, without modern energy means, we make every effort to offer you a simple but quality restoration. We use a maximum of local, regional products. Some also come from organic farming. In order to quench your thirst or to warm you, enjoy our selection of hot and cold drinks. If hunger takes you, do not panic, on request we will prepare varied omelettes, mixed salads, plates filled with regional products, soups, cheeses, cold meats. And if gluttony brings you here, let us make you taste our sweet tarts, Savoy cake, pancakes, white cheeses. All desserts are homemade. Starting point 1: Parking Laisonnay at the foot of the north face of the Grande Casse: Panorama, Aiguille de l'Epéna. 1h30 walk. Starting altitude: 1560 m. Arrival altitude : 2010 m. Drop: 450 m. Difficulty: None. Starting point 2: Peisey-Nancroix-Refuge de Rosuel, duration 8h, + 1100m drop - 600m. Crossing of the Grassaz pass with snow at the beginning of the season. Ski touring (knives are required). Not recommended in winter, very avalanchey, no sun, very cold. - IGN map: 3633 ET Tignes, Val d'Isère and 3532 ET, les Arcs, La Plagne, 3534 OT to 1/25 000. Didier Richard at 1/60000. Coach parking in Laisonnay. Possibility to ride, on horseback, with a donkey, mountain bike, joëlette, alpine skiing and touring, 4x4 only for rescue. Snowshoers, be careful of avalanches and when walking downhill on sloping terrain. Half day excursion: - Lake of the Echines: 1h30, + 400m drop, chamois, panorama. - Alpine chalet "Plan du sel": 1h, + 250m drop, cows processing, manufacture of beaufort. Day hike: - Tour du Vallaisonnay: 8h, + 600m drop - 1000m, panorama, wild animals. - Col du Palet: 3h, + 700m drop, flowers, chamois.

Plan Lombardie Refuge

Fall in love with this beautiful refuge with a capacity of 23 people, in the heart of a valley still virgin and wild at the foot of the majestic black horse. You will be seduced by the soothing comfort of its 5 bedrooms, the sitting area, and the generous cuisine.In the commune of Saint-Jean-de-Belleville, above the hamlet of La Sauce in the Platière valley, the refuge of Plan Lombardie is located in a privileged site, at 1764 m altitude. In summer, it is in the flowered meadows that the refuge welcomes you for a snack, a meal at noon or in the evening, or for several nights. Breakfast, half board, full board or picnic baskets. It is also the ideal setting to organize a festive event (birthday ...). Modern and friendly, the refuge has 5 small rooms from 2 to 6 beds, with toilet and hot shower near the rooms. Beyond the many opportunities for day trips, the refuge is also located on the "Grand Tour de Tarentaise". During your stay, on foot, by bike or ski touring, you can have nineteen beds at your disposal (in small rooms up to 6 people) and hot shower. 15 minutes by car from Saint-Jean-de-Belleville, then direction of Deux-Nants, and La Sauce. Access is easy from La Sauce (7 km) : 30 to 40 min walk. You have to park your car at La Sauce, except for people with reduced mobility, who can however go to the refuge by car directly. The black horse: 3:30 min walk Access also possible on foot from Valmorel or Saint-François-Longchamps.
