Cellar Martin-Barbaz

At the southern end of the Bugey appellation, in the commune of Izieu, Denis Martin-Barbaz produces fruity, structured wines that have been certified organic since 2010.
The vines are grown using organic and even biodynamic methods, combining agroforestry and vitipastoralism. By grazing the vines in autumn, the sheep contribute to soil maintenance and biodiversity.
All parcels are harvested by hand. Denis grows Altesse and Mondeuse grapes, as well as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
