DOMAINE BOIS DE DEVES

In the commune of Castelnau d'Estrétefonds, the Domaine Bois de Devès was taken over in 2020 by Nicholas Smith. In his forties, this former English rock drummer decided to change his life and take an interest in winegrowing, first in the Loire Valley for four years before finally settling in Fronton, a southern appellation with beneficial oceanic influences in times of climate change. Since then, he has been cultivating the 10 hectares of old vines surrounded by oak woods with respectful practices and great sensitivity to the terroirs. In just a few years, his cuvées have already made a name for themselves in the wine trade.
