Come and relax on the banks of this magnificent reservoir in the Vallée du Bonheur near the village of Camprieu.
Ideal for swimming (unsupervised), picnicking, fishing and relaxing.
A reservoir located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur Camprieu, upstream from the village, Lac de Camprieu is a popular spot for vacationers and trout fishermen alike. Two pontoons provide access for wheelchair users.
(Departmental fishing permit required).
The fishing association "La Truite du Bonheur" offers a wide range of fishing activities on the lake: trout releases, fishing competitions... association membership card available).
The lake is fed by the Bonheur river, which rises on Mont Aigoual. The Rivière du Bonheur then flows underground to the Perte du Bonheur and further out into the Abîme de Bramabiau.
