If you liked the circuit above Lanne-en-Barétous (n ° 3) for its heights and its panorama, you will love this circuit over Féas. The same principle, a first part uphill to reach the panoramic ridges, from where we will not want to descend since we will have reached these landscapes by pedal power. However, be careful, the difficulty increases a bit and, if electric assistance becomes essential to climb this summit, it must be accompanied by a good dose of piloting technique to pass between the stones. Once the challenge is done, the panorama from the summit is magnificent. The beginning of the descent, steep and in a ravine, requires vigilance, then it will be time to enter the karst path of the Harizpé forest and into the green valley.

The route starting in Féas has lots to offer. It starts on the country road before the tone changes towards the Crête du Soum de Thès. The ascent gets steep and the landscape is stunning! The diverse descent is a real treat.

An amazing loop for a trained athlete! Throwing yourself into this fabulous tour of the breath-taking landscapes is no trivial matter...it's quite a feat tackling endless ascents and chewing up gravelly paths! Fortunately these sections alternate with lovely recovery opportunities.

As you climb up to Camp de César and go around the ramparts, you can just picture Obelix popping out with a few wild boars under his arms. As you explore trails and winding paths, the whisper of the Bélandre and the sweet golden oriole's birdsong is your soundtrack.

Ideal for a quick one to clear your head or for beginners, St-Pée Woods blend rolling uphill tracks and dirt paths that descent fans will love. Just the ticket for honing your skills and having fun with your friends! Watch out for pedestrians on these shared paths.

Don't be put off by the figures, this outing is suitable for anyone! The terrain is smooth and there are just a few climbs to make your muscles burn. The kilometres fly by and the settings change with them: trails through farms, by the stream or in the woods. You won't get bored here!

The Casebonne Farm is located in the Béarn region. Overlooking the valley of Barétous, on the small commune of ANCE, this family farm offers you a panorama on the chain of the Pyrenees and on the piedmont of Oloron. Strong of its traditions and its ancestral knowledge, it proposes you organic and farm cheeses of character. The ewes, whose diet is natural with mainly hay produced on its fields and organic cereals when the winter is in full swing, switch to the fresh grass of its meadows when the good weather returns. These give a quality organic milk which allows to transform organic cheeses with a typical taste and character. Depending on the season, fresh cheeses (lactic or brick type) are available for sale on the farm.

A storm wiped out Aramits forests and the surroundings in 1941. An ingenious cable system enabled the uprooted trees to be transported to the saw mills. There's still a stake a few metres from the car park.

The Aramits cheese factory is a cooperative that collects milk from around fifty shepherds from Barétous and Soule. Through the centralized production of cow, sheep or mixed cheese, this is an essential link to safeguard local know-how and maintain the economy in rural areas.

Located in the Saint-Pée district, on the banks of the Green River, south of Oloron Sainte-Marie, the health trail offers a privileged setting in the heart of nature. Whether you are a running enthusiast or rather a fan of a more leisurely stroll, or even family leisure activities... you will find at the Saint-Pée Health Course a space conducive to relaxation: picnic area, petanque ground, volleyball court, ping pong tables, playground, children's fishing course, sports course with apparatus. Throughout the year, animals (sheep and donkeys) graze in the heart of the health trail.

The cayolar indicates, in the Basque language, the hut of the shepherd situated at high altitude. That of Aramits was reconstructed, stone by stone, from a hut situated previously in Pierre Saint Martin and is fitted out as those of formerly, used for the manufacturing of the cheese and the place of life of the shepherd hanging the mountain pasture.

For the past 3 years, Coralie and Benoît have chosen to live at the pace of their Alpine goats in the heart of Aramits, the small village in the Béarn Pyrenees where Benoît grew up. Their cheeses - tommes, tommettes and the unctuous Barbalette, queen of raclette evenings - tell of the love they have for this profession. From spring to the depths of winter, their lactic cheeses come in delicate crottins, refined bûches, fragrant frais and creamy fromage blanc. On Mondays and Fridays from April to November, they open their farm: one hour to breathe in the local life, watch milking and savor their creations in a friendly, authentic atmosphere. Reservations required. Cheese sales all year round, Monday to Friday: 5pm-7pm.

Henri d'Aramitz was the king's musketeer and, incidentally, one of the heroes of Alexander Dumas' novel. He inherited from his father the secular abbey of Aramits, of which only a magnificent portico remains near the church. His pal Porthos was from the village of Lanne.

This establishment welcomes you in a modern and luminous setting with sober and soothing tones. The restaurant offers a local and traditional cuisine, based on a maximum of fresh and local products to honour the menu with traditional specialities. Meals are served either in the dining room or on the terrace. Also at your disposal: a post office as well as a deposit of bread and newspapers.

These two rooms are located in the Barétous valley, near the foothills of the Béarn mountains, about 7 kilometres from the town of Oloron Sainte-Marie and 30 kilometres from the Pierre Saint-Martin resort. The rooms have beds at 0.50 cm from the ground, a television with teletext subtitles and wardrobes with wardrobes less than 1.30 m high from the ground. The gîte "La Petite Maison" is a cosy and charming accommodation! Jean-Michel and Paule welcome you all year round in this small space of 35 m2 confined, where you will appreciate the quietness of the place... Jean-Michel being passionate about climbing, you will have at your disposal the topos of the surrounding climbing sites, and even the access to the 30 m2 wall on the spot! And animals are welcome!

This barn is named after the peak that overlooks it. Its renovation is part of an environmental preservation approach that earned it the Eco Gîte qualification: healthy materials and insulation (wood, wool, hemp, cork, organic paints), techniques leading to low energy consumption (Canadian well, double-flow CMV, wood stove, heating wall in raw earth, solar collectors). In a green setting, forests and walks are nearby. The ground floor consists of a large living room, a lounge with wood stove, a kitchen, a bedroom equipped with 2 beds 90x200 cm, a bathroom and toilet accessible to people with reduced mobility. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (8 beds 90x200 cm, can be twinned), two shower rooms, two toilets. The outside area has garden furniture with barbecue. Wood is extra and it is possible to rent sheets.

The "Belle Grange" is a 120m² semi-detached gîte with a communal swimming pool, located in the village of Ance, in a wooded and green setting in the Barétous valley. This accommodation can accommodate up to 7 people. It includes on the ground floor, a large main room with a living room, a kitchen and a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and its shower room. On the 1st floor, two spacious bedrooms of 20 and 40 m² are located at each end of the corridor. In the first one there is a 140 cm bed and the second one is equipped with a 140 cm bed and a 90 cm bed. On the landing you will find a bathroom with a bathtub. You will be able to spend pleasant moments on the terrace and enjoy your grilled meats cooked on the barbecue or bask in the sun on the solarium around the communal above-ground swimming pool. Some sports equipment is at your disposal in the laundry room.

The "Petite Grange" is a 45 m² semi-detached gîte with a shared swimming pool located in the heart of the village of Ance, in a wooded and green setting in the Barétous valley. This accommodation, on two levels, can accommodate up to 3 people. It is composed of a main room with a kitchenette, a dining area and a living room with a convertible sofa bed for one bed. The central staircase leads you to the first floor where there is a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and a shower room. The stone walls, the beams and the floor give the furniture a warm atmosphere. You will be able to spend pleasant moments on the terrace where you will find garden furniture and a barbecue. From the car park, there is direct access to the garden and the communal above-ground swimming pool. You will relax on the sunbeds located on the solarium.
