





The cayolar indicates, in the Basque language, the hut of the shepherd situated at high altitude. That of Aramits was reconstructed, stone by stone, from a hut situated previously in Pierre Saint Martin and is fitted out as those of formerly, used for the manufacturing of the cheese and the place of life of the shepherd hanging the mountain pasture.
