Isn't the perfect mountain bike ride a good ascent by road or a great piste so you can enjoy the descent? Well this trail is ideal for cyclists and anyone who uses shuttle buses! The rolling fun-filled descent is bound to make a mark on your memory and maybe your arms!

A generous course in landscapes as contrasted as varied. The departure is at the foot of the circus of Lescun, breathtakingly beautiful, under the "benevolent gaze" of some mythical peaks: Ansabère Needles, Anie Peak, Le Billare, the Table of the Three Kings. At the Barrancq pass (1601 m), you have an appointment with the history of the navy, which will be "told" to you by the remarkable hundred-year-old fir trees. Then, you will go down towards the picturesque villages of Borce and Etsaut, set there, in their incomparable green setting.

This short hike is an ode to the mountain starting in the village of Lescun nestled beneath the southern slopes of the Pic d'Ourtasse. The ledge path gradually gets steeper and leads along a ridge to the stunning Barlatte Woods then the breath-taking belvedere!

The Chemin du Col de Pau may be long but what a ride! The trek starts from Lescun cirque and covers all the stages: meadows, beech forest and summer pastures. Increasingly grandiose landscapes appear as you gain ground. Mineral blends with plants and splashes the canvas with colour.

In the heart of the Vallée d'Aspe, just a few kilometers from Accous, this plateau of pastures and estives stretches along the Labadie towards the Pyrenees National Park and Spain. Surrounded by gentle mountains and prestigious peaks, the middle part of the plateau offers a beautiful, moderately graded route to meet the herds, on a small cul-de-sac road.

This little loop has surprises galore! The ascent is fairly steep to begin with and rocks you with the stream's murmurs and birdsong. The trail gradually reveals views of the Anie mountain range. Flowers bring colour to the route right up to autumn!

It all depends on the point of view! Here's one of Lescun cirque that can safely be described as exceptional. All the summits are here, Pic d'Anie, Billare, Table des trois Rois. It's worth mentioning that it may not be particularly difficult but some sections at the end are very steep.

This walk will delight the whole family. The plateau of Sanchèse is an enchantment for the discovery of the mountain. The sound of the waterfall, the stream and the animals in freedom cheerfully enliven the plateau. The tour of this plateau lined with cliffs and forest is not to be missed.

A secret lake in a lost cirque, a lush haven in the midst of a mineral world... You couldn't imagine all this when you start out on this route. The trail starts on a great piste and runs through very different settings then, when you least expect it, the lake appears!

In the Vallée d'Aspe, above the medieval village of Borce, the Parc'Ours Association invites you to visit a Park and Animal Refuge through a 7-hectare nature trail. Come and discover the animals of our mountains (bears, marmots, isards, ibexes, birds of prey, insects?) and the local flora (trees, flowers, mushrooms?). Our caretakers will reveal the secrets of the Pyrenean Brown Bear as it feeds. Enter the isard and mouflon enclosures to get up close and personal with a wild animal emblematic of our mountains. Hunt for clues to the presence of forest animals, and experience a privileged contact with the refuge?s animals. Your visit will be punctuated by educational panels, fun trails, a nature store, play areas and picnic areas...

Built in 1842 by order of Louis Philippe to guard the Pyrenean border. Set against a cliff overlooking the Gave d'Aspe, it faces the Chemin de la Mâture. Charged with protecting the Col du Somport road against Spanish incursions, it owes its fame to the political figures who were interned there during the Vichy regime: Blum, Daladier, Reynaud, Mandel, Gamelin? and then, after the war, Pétain. It was listed as a historic monument in 2005,

The Somport Nordic ski school specializes in teaching cross-country skiing and other Nordic disciplines, such as biathlon and snowshoeing. Our school, which has been operating on the Somport Nordic ski area since 1994, offers all skiers modern, high-quality teaching methods taught by qualified instructors. Studio of 24m² in the residence les Oursons II, on the 5th floor with lift and private parking. You will be able to take full advantage of the quietness of this independent residence. As you enter the studio, the shower room with WC completely redone in 2013 with shower cabin, earthenware and basin furniture is located on your left. In the alcove, there is a bunk bed (two 80 cm beds) then in the living room, a 140 cm sofa bed for two more beds is at your disposal. This apartment is located in the heart of the Pierre Saint-Martin resort, 100 meters from the slopes and shops, in the residence Les Oursons, on the 4th floor with lift and parking space. You will be able to take full advantage of the quietness of this independent residence and the pleasant view on the village of the chalets. Entering this completely renovated studio, you will find the alcove with a bunk bed for two people and the bathroom. We pass into the main room with a BZ sofa bed for two extra beds and a fully equipped kitchen. To spend pleasant moments you have a raclette machine, a fondue machine and a waffle machine at your disposal. When you reach the Lhers Plateau, a break at the viewfinder table is a welcome excuse to admire the Lescun cirque.

A farmer in Lescun, in the Vallée d'Aspe, on the family farm for more than 30 years, Jean-François offers you cow, mixed and pure ewe's milk tomes. Regularly rewarded for his know-how, he went to defend the colours of the Vallée d'Aspe at the Paris Agricultural Show on several occasions.

In the Pyrenees Béarnaises, in the Aspe Valley, the Cirque de Lescun is a mecca for Pyreneanism. Its famous mountains: Ansabère, the Pic d'Anie, the Organs of Camplong and many others are a delight for amateur and expert hikers. The typical Aspois village of Lescun perched at 900 metres above sea level opens its windows on the breathtaking view offered by this circus of mountains.

On March 27th 1970 just north of Lescun Bridge, the freight train derailed on the Pau-Canfranc track. An electricity failure caused the brakes to deactivate. It hurtled backwards from Cette-Eygun and the convoy hit the bridge in the Estanguet bend and destroyed it.

A small farm with around 30 Pyrenean goats and 30 Béarnaise ewes, in the magnificent village of Lescun cirque, all the milk produced is milked by hand and processed on the farm into lactic-type cheeses and mixed-milk tome. The animals enjoy the mountain outdoors all year round, and the cheese can be tasted on site or taken away. Visits are free during opening hours.

Our farm is located in the Vallée d'Aspe, in the cirque of Lescun, a small village in the heart of the Pyrenean mountains. This is where our Pyrenean donkeys graze in natural meadows inherited from our elders. The Asinerie de Lescun invites you to watch the milking of the donkeys from May to December. Depending on the season, we can present our activity in the village of Lescun or in the mountains at the Anaye estive (1-hour walk from the Sanchèse plateau). Throughout the year, you can find our cosmetics at our retailers and online at www.sauma.bio. We welcome you at the Bedous market on Thursday mornings in July and August, and at the weekly winter farmers' market in La Pierre Saint Martin (Christmas and February school vacations).

Situated in the Vallée d'Aspe in the Pyrenees Béarnaises, the village of Cette is perched at an altitude of 700 metres and offers a panoramic view of the mountains. The picnic area welcomes you near the geological panel that explains the formation of the mountains thousands of years ago. Equipped with tables, you will spend a gourmet or relaxing moment while enjoying the view.

Situated in the Aspe Valley in the Pyrenees Béarnaises and facing the Lescun Mountain Circus, the Plateau de Lhers is perched at an altitude of 1000 metres. At the entrance of the hamlet, an orientation table is at your disposal to contemplate the Cirque de Lescun in a different way. Extend to the bottom of the plateau, tables are at your disposal along the stream Le Labadie for a gourmet break or a moment of relaxation. Sheep, horses, cows and donkeys will keep you company in summer.

This pebbly section runs on a second home. Go past the front and hit the trail along a stream (so cute). Get back onto a track after a few bends and cross the Boussoum. Go straight down the road at the crossroads and reach the car park.

The Billare (2312m) jumps out at you on the way back out of the woods!

At an altitude of 700 m, overlooking the Vallée d'Aspe, the Château d'Arance is at the heart of the village of Cette-Eygun. This 13th-century residence boasts an exceptional panoramic view. Traditional cuisine is served in the dining room or on the terrace during the summer months. The menu changes with the seasons, using quality local produce.

In the upper Aspe valley, on the village square in Etsaut, in the Béarn Pyrenees, this restaurant, bar and grocery store welcomes you every day. On the terrace under the pergola or indoors next to the fireplace, you'll enjoy quality dishes mixing tradition and modernity, traditional cuisine including our snails with wild garlic, or a hearty garbure to warm up. At the crossroads of the GR10 and the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, we invite you to stop off at Borce, a magnificent mountain village with a medieval feel. The Auberge de l'ours in the Vallée d'Aspe is a multi-service business: crêperie, bar, gite étape, grocery store and bread depot. The soul of the auberge is above all its bar area, where you can stroll around, discover and taste beers from all horizons (lagers, browns, artisanal beers, IPAs...) as well as delicious home-made crêpes and galettes bretonnes.

Transhumance & cie located in Bedous in the Aspe valley. Our menus and menu are essentially inspired by the culinary heritage of the Bearn region and the work of the local breeders and producers. The garbure is every day in the menu. Dishes in sauce simmered in a wood-fired oven, meats grilled over a wood fire, roasted in the fireplace, farm cheeses in raclette or melted over the embers... The desserts also include traditional Béarn specialties or our specialties: milhassou, Aspe cake, our crumble "Brigalha", and from February to August the ewe's milk cheese and even summer cheese from the end of June to mid-August. In Bedous, in the Pyrenees Béarnaises in the Valley of Aspe, Liza and Daniel welcome you in their restaurant equipped with a shaded terrace for the beautiful days. You will find daily menus that are out of the everyday life and some Asian notes here and there. The choice and quality are there with no less than 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. Liza, originally from Asia, also offers you an Asian menu on reservation to be tasted on the spot or to take away. You will have an overview of typical and tasty dishes. Close your eyes and you are almost there.

Located on the slopes of La Pierre Saint-Martin at the arrival of the "Le Family" chairlift, La Palombière is the high-altitude snack bar. You can take a break after your exertions on the sunny terrace, where you can enjoy burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, drinks and sweets...

The Auberge des Isards is located in the heart of the village of Aydius, in the Vallée d'Aspe, offering panoramic views of the Pyrenees mountains. Laure and Alexandre, the managers, want to bring a real dynamic and make this inn a hub of the village, friendly and family-oriented. With his creative and original cuisine, the chef aims to pass on his love of cooking, using quality local produce. Takeaway pizzas ordered the day before.

Located on the pistes of La Pierre Saint-Martin, Marie-Laure welcomes you to her “inn”, for a pause between descents. You can have a shepherd’s lunch there: fried eggs and ventrèche bacon accompanied with a glass of wine. Or have a drink on the terrace in the sun.

With a capacity of 15 people, the gite is located in the heart of the village of Lescun, on the central square. You will find a large common room with a kitchen at your disposal and a stove for the cooler days. It is located at 50m from the grocery store of the village.
