Just a few kilometers from Arras lies the Bois de Maroeuil. A number of trails are available, including the Sittelle loop. Approximately 1.2 km in length, it is ideal for people with reduced mobility and the visually impaired.Along the way, you'll come across some remarkable trees, see the historic remains of the site, notably the sandstone extraction pits, and perhaps catch a glimpse of a deer or squirrel, both of which are very present on the site.In spring, daffodils and hyacinths brighten up the walk. The compacted limestone surface is passable all year round, and the breadcrumb trail guides you along the path.

This trail, which passes through varied surroundings, will take you to the sites of three nearby abbeys: Mont-Saint-Eloi, Etrun and Maroeuil. There you will discover some ruins that managed to survive the destruction of the revolution. The trail is certified by the French Federation of Hiking (FFRP).

The village of Sibiville lies at the heart of a narrow wooded valley through which flows the Ayres stream, which feeds into the Canche. Crossed by the Scarpe, the charming village of Savy-Berlette was created by the union of the communes of Savy and Berlette. Its château, built in 1706, became a convent in the early 19th century and has been home to an agricultural lycée since 1971. Its church, dedicated to Saint-Martin, was built on a feudal motte. It stands out for the elegance of its ashlar pyramid-shaped bell tower and its five-storey tower. Another imposing building is the former Debrique sugar factory, which closed in 1974. The village can be visited in eleven stages on the Discovery Walk.
