The village of Séricourt is best known for its "Jardins de Séricourt", classified as a "remarkable garden" in 2012.
Its Old French name "séri courtil" means "little garden" and underlines the beauty of this green setting at the end of a valley criss-crossed by the Ayres stream. Today, the village has a population of around 60 and is working to restore the chapel of Saint Martin, the oldest building in the village.
