Site protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral (Coastal protection agency), Tatihou Island offers nature and history lovers a wide choice: three different gardens. The museum preserves and interprets for the public a collection of archaeological pieces from the wrecks of the Battle of La Hougue (1692), objects from the bronze age, ethnology and history of coastal life in Lower Normandy, and fine marine art from the 17th to 19th centuries.

Typical manor of the area. It is a Norman square courtyard enclosed by two porches, one double, with cart gate and pedestrian door. The manor dates from the 16th and 18th centuries. The Grennevilles took part in the Norman Conquest alongside William the Conqueror in 1066.

The Montfarville Church was built in 1763 of local white granite, and contains exceptional works of art, notably the virgin with child in multicoloured stone, as well as four large wooden statues. The vault and the chancel were decorated in 1879 by the painter from Réville, Guillaume Fouace. In two years, Fouace painted 19 canvasses depicting scenes from the life of Christ. These paintings are listed as historical monuments.
