You set off from Pontenx-les-Forges, a charming village of garluche (rust-colored stone) buildings. You head for Lüe, a small village with a rich historical heritage. You then head through the forest along the old railroad line to the village of Labouheyre. As you enter Labouheyre, you pass the Maison de la Photographie des Landes, the birthplace of Felix Arnaudin. Leaving Labouheyre, the voie verte runs deep into the forest. You arrive at Commensacq. The voie verte returns to the heart of the Landes forest until you reach the Eiffel bridge. A few kilometers further on, you arrive at the Ecomusée de Marquèze train station before reaching the town of Sabres. There are no technical difficulties to report. This route, built on the right-of-way of an old railroad line, has a very slight gradient. The route is ideal for families.

The cycle track that links Gastes to Sainte Eulalie en Born is winding. It runs along the pine trees and the landscape slowly changes. The tall pines have given way to a different vegetation, where ferns and coppices reign supreme.

Cycle track that links Parentis en Born to Gastes, a large part of the track runs along a busy road. Little shade.

From Parentis en Born, the cycle path offers a very smooth ride on the old straight railway line, in the middle of the forest and allows you to reach Ychoux

Just before, on your left and after the stadium, you will find the path bike. Proceed straight on the bike path. Cross the road following the bike path. Head alongside the bike path for 100 meters until the seaplane roundabout, take a right the Chemin d’Arbage at Pastebuch1. Arriving at the first house, turn left at the Pilon way, continue straight to 2 Caillaou Street. Take the Biganon Street and just before the barn, turn left, then direct yourself towards the marshland. At 3, when you see the gate, continue straight to the lake (watch out for cattle, cows, horses, donkeys). Admire the view of the lake and make a 180° turn to reach the circuit at 3. Turn left and continue along the fence until landmark 4. Return to Latecoere 5, direct yourself towards the nautical center. Take a break and admire the view of the lake, the hunter’s huts, sailboats sailing school... Follow the lake shore along the green spaces, then go on the beach and proceed straight on the canal passing by the two footbridges until 6. Turn right and following the Lily pond, then continue straight. Return to your point of departure. You will find your point of departure following the Montbron center, then the bell tower The numbers 1 through 6 are markers on the path map

This walking tour starting from the town of Biscarrosse will take you to the place called Moulin du Nord, to cross then several districts of the city: the district in Hill, the district Arnaudin. The forest of Biscarrosse is also part of your itinerary.

Direct yourself towards the municipal pool, 1 Muletiers Street and make a left at Megnicat Alley. Continue onto Rameaux Alley and continue on the path through under the trees, take camping des Petits Ecureuils 2 direction. Turn right and continue on path until you reach Moulin du Nord 3. Proceed straight on the road until you reach the “En Hill 4” neighborhood, cross bridge that crosses the ditch bearing the same name. Continue down the road towards the Arnaudin neighborhood, and cross the neighborhood. Behind the barn continue straight towards the South using the path until you reach intercommunal bike path “ # 17 marked on 2,5 km. Turn right and stay on bike path until Forestiere Street 6, take the path in front of you that passes under the electric lines. When you reach the houses, take Massenet street, turn left onto Gravieres Alley and right continuing onto Muletiers Street and return to your point of departure using Jules Ferry Street. On the way to Probert's manor at the end of the road is the statue of the Virgin of Maylis (mother of the lilies) installed in a dummy tree trunk. It is said to have been made after the passage of a mission.

The Saint Eutrope fountain, patron saint of the Sainte-Eulalie spring, cures leg diseases and cripples. Located 100 meters from the church towards the road to CEL, near a large house, it is easily spotted among the reeds. A statue of Saint-Eutrope, which is now in the village church, originally watched over this fountain. Eutrope was the first bishop of Saintes, and it was traditional to bring to him children with stunted or weak legs, as well as the crippled. Some Jacquets stopped at the miraculous fountain, no doubt hoping to relieve the pain of their long walk.

The wash house is located on the town hall square : a 19th century wash house has been built. This wash house is part of the national hygiene campaign decided by the State to fight against epidemics.

Set in a beautiful airial of oak and plane trees, one of which is said to be the second largest plane tree in the Landes region, Manoir de Probert is an authentic Landes country manor dating from the late 17th century. Paul Déroulède, a political scientist during the Third Republic, lived here with his sister in the 1930s. And more recently, until 1997, to Paul Sargos, Nobel Peace Prize winner and co-creator of Médecins sans Frontières.

The church lies along the Way of Saint James and is a stopping place for pilgrims to this day. It was damaged during WWII and rebuilt in 1957. Its nave, transept, and an apse remain from the original construction. The ogive windows in the nave are long and narrow, displaying multicoloured stained glass in pastel shades.

The Pietà in the church of Sainte-Eulalie-en-Born is a fresco by the internationally renowned French painter Augustin François Guille, known as Archiguille. During his stay in the commune in 1976, he painted this pietà on the walls of the church. The pietà is a biblical theme depicting the sorrowful Virgin Mary holding the body of Christ descended from the cross on her knees. It is very rare to find it as a mural in churches.

It is a Tudor castle that was built for the Duke of Westminster in 1910. In recognition of his courage during the Boer War (South Africa), the Duke was offered the reward of a residence. During a hunting expedition, he chose the surroundings of the Aureilhan Pond to build this hunting lodge and its outbuildings, the construction of which began in 1911. The cottage is in English style with its curved gables and Landes style with its brickwork in fish bone. It was built according to the plans of his African house already named Woolsack It was a major event for the region, a large number of inhabitants worked for the Duke. Coco Chanel, Winston Churchill or Salvador Dali took advantage of this very relaxing place. The Duke's death in July 1953 put an end to the period of pomp and circumstance. The church is in Romanesque style and probably from the 16th century with a single nave. Inside is the bust of Mommolin (a local saint). The bell tower has openings that seem to be loopholes. In the porch there is a beam with strange motifs, perhaps a specimen of popular art from the 15th century. The walls of this building are made of garluche. Next to the church is the fountain Sainte Ruffine to treat impetigo, acne and eczema.
