Perched on one of the viewpoints, contemplate the horizon, the Marais d'Orx and the 9 churches with the help of the orientation tables. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees and the ocean in the distance... Built on the former bed of the Adour, the Boudigau (1) which means canal in Gascon will be the starting point of our bucolic stroll. Along the cycle path leading to the marina and fishing port (2), you can stroll by bike, rollerblade or on foot, depending on your mood. If you take the beach path, it is impossible to miss the Capbreton fish market (3). Its particularity: the 19 boats in the port of Capbreton can sell their catch of the day directly without going through an auction, an ultra-fresh fish at a reasonable price: the best for gourmets! On the way to the Estacade (5), the Capitainerie (4) informs the sailors of the weather conditions. As for the Estacade, it is the emblematic monument which symbolises the revival of the port of Capbreton after the long centuries of decline which followed the diversion of the Adour.

To discover the history of the town of Capbreton, let yourself go along its narrow streets (1) also called "balènes", some of whose names are those of the sailors, masters and ship captains who lived here. Continue along the pedestrian street of Général-de-Gaulle (2) called "Grand'rue" and admire at numbers 48 and 56, the two medieval houses with corbelling and half-timbering called "Maisons des Anglais". Continuing your way, you will come across the charming tree-lined square "Yan dou Gouf" (3) (Jean Duboscq), poet and Gascon teacher. Nearby is the media library "L'Écume des jours" in homage to Boris Vian who stayed in Capbreton in 1940 and met his wife Michelle there. Linger a little further on at the Maison de l'Oralité et du Patrimoine (4) located in the heart of the town.

1.2 km long, the seafront promenade will allow you to admire the beaches of Hossegor and the Place des Landais, an architectural site classified as an "area for the enhancement of architecture and heritage" of the most prestigious. You will take a footbridge inaugurated in 2010 while enjoying the view of the ocean and the Pyrenees chain.

45mn -2.7km. Departure : CERS of Capbreton in front of the Prévent beach, go directly to the entrance of the path indicated by educational panels. On the top of the Savane beach, you can observe the blockhouses often covered with graphics and paintings made by the artist Darry Perier who initiates to live painting and makes discover the secrets and tricks of urban art. Further on, take an interest in the dune flora that develops on the different parts of the embryonic dune and the "white" dune. Continue opposite the beach of the Piste where you can contemplate the dunes of Capbreton in all their extent, you will then see the pante aux alouettes. Then discover the dune vineyard which produces a wine of character: the Vin des Dunes. Finish your walk by lingering on the characteristics of the flora and fauna of the back dune or "grey" dune.

Welcome to the Pouchucq farm, for me being a farmer is first and foremost a passion. My wish is to help you discover the great taste of poultry. We also raise black pigs and fattened ducks on our farm close to the ocean. My chickens take the time to grow up in freedom. They are fed with corn grown on site. After 3 1/2 months of free-range rearing, we fatten our ducks on whole-grain corn for 2 weeks to offer you quality foie gras. Farm products: fattened duck; black pigs; farm chickens; preserves.

I'm Stéphanie Vallée, ceramist and craftswoman. I offer pottery classes and workshops in my Terres bohèmes studio, in a bright, welcoming space. There are modeling classes for adults and children aged 7 and over, as well as throwing classes for those aged 15 and over. There is also my boutique at the entrance to the studio, with my bohemian and poetic-inspired pieces in stoneware and porcelain, dedicated to tableware, decoration and lighting.

The bouldering gym offers a unique experience for climbers of all levels, in a warm and friendly setting on the edge of a national forest. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced climber, you'll enjoy a variety of openings spread over 450m² of climbing space. The 1000m² gym also features a fitness/musculation area, a sauna, a solarium, two outdoor terraces and a bar-restaurant with continuous service every day of the week. The gym is open to young and old alike, from age 7 upwards, with day passes or 20-minute introductory classes. Heritage – Gallery The Fonds Labégorre shelters a heritage area dedicated to the work of art and career of the Aquitaine painter Serge Labégorre : the very last great artist of the expressionnist movement ; as well as a large art gallery where the canvases of this great painter, whose work is regularly renewed, meet the work of other symbolic artists, during temporary exhibitions. Third session is a new art center dedicated to contemporary photography, located at the Pavilion of the forest, in the village of Soorts. At the meeting point of the image and the text, the place exposes all the summer the Girondin Alain Laboile, celebrated all over the world for its black and white prints, elegiac chronicle of a large family life in contact with nature. Admission is free, from Wednesday to Sunday, from 2pm to 7pm. Mediations, educational workshops to image and writing, sound immersions accompany the exhibition. An extension is planned outside, at the Ferme de Bielle, in Soorts-Hossegor, with eleven additional images. From September, Third session will exhibit a new series by the portrait artist Baudouin on surfers from the south of Les Landes.
