To find peace and quiet and recharge your batteries far from the big cities, this itinerary combines a walk in the woods and a stroll through the vineyards between the churches of the two parishes of Saint-Pé and Saint-Simon.

After the town hall, alternatively sandy or sandy paths cross coniferous plantations, but also hornbeam, acacia and oak woods. Cross the Gueyze again on a two-arch bridge to reach the adjoining town hall.

Built on a former railway line linking Gabarret to Mont de Marsan, the Voie verte du Marsan et de l'Armagnac offers a mosaic of landscapes to cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders over 52 km. Since 2018, it has been an integral part of the Scandiberique, the pilgrims' cycle route (EuroVélo 3) which links the town of Tronheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela, crossing France over 1,700 km, including 195 km in the Landes. Signposted by the Landes Department, it is possible to take the cycle tourism loops to join the greenways from Saint Sever to Dax or from Lagraulet to Condom in the Gers

Small village on the site of a motte-and-bailey castle, where remain beautiful very old half-timbered houses and an old mill on the Douze river. The church, with a gable-shaped bell-tower, dates back to the year 1026. It was destroyed during the wars of religion, then rebuilt in the 18th century. At the entrance of the graveyard in front of the church remains a small edifice where the St Loup fountain was. The fountain is now dry. The Briat castle, nearby was built by the d'Albret family. Henri IV visited several times.
