You will pass near the signs "Croix de Garbure", "Les Rompudes", "Combes de Gibarau" and "Taoule Messe". At the "Portail de la Planet d'Oume" turn left and follow the path (yellow markings) for 2km. At the sign "Les Castillones" turn left and continue the path for 1.4km. At the signpost "Quartier du Fangas" go straight on for 300m then turn left at the signpost "Valorière" to return to the village of Aramon by the "Croix de Garbure". Then take the path of the departure (red and white markings).

If you want to cycle from the shores of Lake Geneva to the beaches of the Mediterranean along the Rhône River, here's the ViaRhôna! On this section, you'll set off from Avignon or Beaucaire, passing through Aramon. The route takes you gently from Beaucaire (Ville d'Art et d'Histoire) via the Pont du Gard greenway. You'll then zigzag through vineyards and orchards to reach Aramon, a town strongly marked by the presence of water. At the Les Angles TGV bridge, turn right onto rue du Chêne Vert At the end of the street, turn right and cross the Pont Daladier You're now in the center of Avignon.

Continue to the Sundial hotel and turn left on Chemin du Moulin. 200 m further, past the Tourist Office and the Auguste Chabaud Museum. 3- Pass the National Course, take the Jeanne d'Arc street after the Virgin statue and turn right on the Provence street. Then turn right on the General de Gaulle avenue then left on Lieutenant Atger Avenue. At the roundabout continue on the D5 until the entrance to Maillane. 4- Cross Maillane via the Jousse d'Arbaud alley, General de Gaulle avenue and Poet's Avenue. Continue on the D27, for 4 km, to the business area of ??Massane. At the crossroads with the D99 (Caution, traffic!), Turn left then continue for 400 m and turn right on the D27 towards Les Baux-de-Provence. 5- Drive 1.5 km and turn right on the old road to Arles after crossing the crossing with the Mas-Blanc road. Continue to Saint-Etienne du Grès, cross the village and continue on the D32. At the crossroads with the D33, take the left to join the Saint-Gabriel chapel 100 m further. 6- At the Saint-Gabriel chapel, retrace your steps to the last crossroads and continue towards Tarascon. (Caution, traffic!) At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, D570N, then turn right on the Lansac road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, D99 towards Beaucaire. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and turn immediately left on the République Avenue to reach your starting point.

Surprising walk where you will discover clay pitons shaped by erosion offering a show of forms and colors where a particular fauna and a flora settled. Not recommended the day after the rain because the ground is slippery. The Fosses de Fournès form a lunar landscape with very strong geological features. It's a special place for the flora and fauna that live there. Kermes oaks, wild lavender and rosemary blend into the clay landscape. The former clay quarry stretches along a gentle gradient that keeps you going up and down. The slopes are designed to make your walk easier. There's something fascinating about the landscape, which will take you on a journey from the Moon to the Gardon, via the vineyards. Not recommended after rain, as the terrain is very slippery. From the Grand Rue parking lot in Fournès village, turn left towards the Mairie. Walk along the stadium, then past the cemetery. Follow the route de théziers, then turn left at the Parefeuille factory. Follow the road for 1km, then turn left towards Les Fosses de Fournès. Along the way, you'll come across pitons between ten and thirty meters high, the highest of which is called "La Mourre de Pitaraçon". Then continue towards Fournès via Les Escarpettes. Turn left towards Fontaine de Nocquet, then left again to reach the village. You will pass the Cave Coopérative to reach the Grand Rue parking lot.

Come and discover Saint-Michel de Frigolet Abbey , in the heart of the Montagnette massif! From the car park, head for the Saint-Michel de Frigolet Abbey. Take the path on the right that goes along the wall. Follow the rocky track towards "Boulbon 1h", then 100 m after the trail on the left. At the next intersection, continue in the middle of the kermes oaks to the track to cross twice. 1- At the next crossing, follow the indication "Boulbon 50mn". After the small collar, go straight down, then climb a second hill. Shortly after, cross the drivable track at the end of the valley to go up on the hill opposite. Cross successively two other valleys. Continue, leaving the basin on the left. 100 m after, cross a track, then take the path towards a factory chimney visible in the distance. 2- Then descend to Boulbon, through the valley of Saint-Michel. At the end of this gorge, turn right and follow the marking of red dots to access the Bonnet mill and its panorama (30 min return trip). Once back at the foot of the gorges, reach the village by the Gaston de Raousset street. 3- At the junction of the end of this street (fire hydrant), take the left for Barri street, then the second right on Météline street. Continue on the Breuil path, to the road. 250 m after the purification plant, turn on the road on the left marked PR (yellow), then find the road again on 100 m. 4- Take the intersection and follow “Pas de Bouquet” path. After 2 km, turn left towards "Saint-Michel de Frigolet abbey 1h40" by the San Salvador path. Continue for about 3 km. 5- At the highest point of the Montagnette (San Salvador, 161 m), dive by a small path on the right. At the crossing in "T” form then take a left. At the next two crossroads, always take the left. 6- Turn right on the track, then at the junction forming a triangle continue to the right. Find shortly after the departure path, "abbey of Saint-Michel of Frigolet 10mn".

Through the garrigue, discover the site of the "vallon d'Escaunes" and the tunnels dug by the Romans for the passage of the aqueduct. From the fortified church of St Bonnet du Gard enjoy the panorama of the Rhone valley and the Mont Ventoux. From the "Chemin du Sablas" parking lot (town hall) in Saint-Bonnet-du-Gard, head towards "la place de la Fontaine". Then cross the D6086 (be careful) to reach "rue de l'Hôtel de Ville" and climb up to the fortified church. Continue straight on, following the red-and-white signs: you'll pass the "Ferraud" and "Sous Ferraud" signposts. Turn left onto the path and follow the yellow markings for 800 m to the "La Draille de Perotte" sign. At the fork in the road, take the left-hand path for 300 m to reach the Roman tunnels. Follow the signs for "Chemin de ronde", "Le Vallon" and "Le Roliss" for 600 m, then go straight on to join the "Chemin de l'Aqueduc". When you reach Sernhac, continue straight on until you reach the "Chemin des cavaliers", then turn right to drive alongside the multi-purpose hall. Follow this path for 900 m, then turn right to reach the "Pied de Vallajouse" sign (yellow markings). Continue straight on for 1.2 km towards Saint-Bonnet-du-Gard. At the intersection, go straight on ("Garrigues Brasses"), then join the D6086. Turn right to find "Place de la Fontaine" (take care when crossing) and the Sablas parking lot.

Nice family hike through the woods to discover the ancient remains of the Roman Aqueduct up to the Pont du Gard. This walk plunges you into the scrubland, the olive groves, the dry stone walls, the forests of green oaks... From the Place de la Madone parking lot in Remoulins : Go up the street near the Tourist Office (Place des grands jours) and cross the Remoulins new bridge. At the traffic circle, turn right and drive past the Communauté des Communes building. At the "Combe Pradier" sign, turn left and head towards "le sablas" for 2.5 km (uphill). At the "le sablas" sign, continue straight ahead on the GR6 (red and white markings) for 500m. At the "Valmale" signpost, turn right and continue on the GR6 (red and white markings) for 1.5 km. You'll come across remains of the Aqueduct on your way and a superb panorama of the Pont du Gard. Descend the path to reach the monument. To return : Right bank, turn right "Pont du Gard" for 500m. Pass the ticket office and take the path on the right at the "Combe de Roussière" sign. Then join the path alongside the road, which leads back to the village of Remoulins for 2.5 km.

Continue by the Paradis uphill and the avenue Jean Moulin. At the intersection with the D24b, turn left and continue for 7 km to Eygalières. 8- Cross the village and continue on the D24b for 2 km. Turn left on the D24, towards Mouriès. At the foot of Calans, turn right on the GR marked path. Pass by the bridge called Romain, the triangular junction stays on the right and follow this path for 3 km. 9- Continue straight on the Aurelia road to the city entrance sign. Continue to Van Gogh Avenue. Cross it and follow Joseph d'Arbaud Avenue. Continue on the "Chemin Gaulois". Turn left after the canal, then take the old road on the left to Arles until the intersection with the D27. Cross it and continue straight on to St-Etienne du Grès.

This orientation table was installed in 2002, at the initiative of the children of the primary school of Boulbon, a few meters below the Bonnet windsmill. This feudal castle, above the Rhone valley, has long been a sentinel of the county of Provence facing the Kingdom of France. Dating from the 11th century, it belonged to different owners, some of whom have left their names in history, like Raymond de Turenne or King René. The last Count of Boulbon, Gaston de Raousset, died in Boulbon without direct descendants in 1956. The castle is classified on the list of Historical Monuments since a decree of January 2nd, 1976.

Located in the Montagnette, Moulin windsmill, was created in the eighteenth century, the golden age of windmills. The Rhône valley, swept by the Mistral, is an ideal site for mills. In operation until the 19th century, they were supplanted by industrial mills. In 2002, the Bonnet windsmill is the subject of a complete restoration : the tower has a roof and wings. It is the first windmill in Bouches-du-Rhône to have been put back into operation.

The Alep pine is very present in the Alpilles. He appreciates the low altitudes (below 900 meters) and the Mediterranean regions (warm climate, dry soils, sunshine). It has the particularity to grow very quickly. It is observed therefore repel after the passage of fires, because it is the first essence which reconstructs the landscape. Highly flammable, its bark was previously used for tanning skins or dyes.

The Alpilles massif is a low altitude mountain range, made up of limestone white rocks. It stretches from west to east between Tarascon and Orgon over an area of ??50,000 hectares and sixteen municipalities. It is one of the emblematic reliefs of the Bouches-du-Rhône, dominating in the north the gardening lowland of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and in the south the Crau lowland The Opies, to the east of the massif, constitute its culminating point, with 498 meters of altitude.

The Montagnette is a 6 000 ha massif whose relief is of low altitude (150 m approximately), but relatively abrupt. Dating from the Neocomian secondary era, 70 million years ago, it is marked by a series of hills and valleys essentially oriented north-west / south-east, parallel to the axis of the mistral. With a significant agricultural and pastoral activity, the Montagnette massif has a relatively low afforestation rate (30%), mainly composed of Aleppo pines.

Mère Maury's ravioles from Romans, stuffed with summer white truffles or basil, are a pure delight.
