Located in the north-east of the department, on the borders of the Dordogne, the Haute-Vienne and the Corrèze, the Rouffiac leisure centre was built in 1983 on the Petite Loue. In a preserved natural environment, on the edge of one of the largest bodies of water in the Périgord, in the heart of a wooded park of 100 hectares in the Périgord Vert, you can walk freely around the pond on a 7km path. This shaded loop goes around the lake starting near the beach, and passes near the water ski lift. You can also take advantage of the various activities on the lake: supervised swimming, water ski lift, canoeing... Links marked out in green allow you to join the cultural sites around, paper mills of Vaux, forges of Savignac-Lédrier in the gorges of Auvézère, house of the Golden Apple in Lanouaille.

Departure: From the signpost at the church parking lot, walk along the church, cross the crossroads and head for the Hôtel des Voyageurs. Follow the road for 250 m, then turn right at the "PAYZAC" exit sign pAYZAC" sign.

Between Landes and Causses. From the "Panneau d?Appel" sign at the town exit parking lot, follow signs for St Yrieix. Go up towards the church, then take the first right towards the Mairie. Drive past the soccer pitch.

Glandon, a village on the outskirts of St-Yrieix, is perched on a hill at around 380 metres. Until half a century ago, the village of Moissac was home to fourteen tombs dating back to the Iron Age (600 BC). Today, this small village retains a remarkable heritage, notably with its two fountains, St-Sernin and Ste-Radegonde, and its 12th-century church. Along the way, our beautiful Limousin cows revel in our lush green meadows.

La forge de Beausoleil: the farm as it was in the past! Come and discover a farm like no other. Here the chickens roam free in the yard, the stables are the same as they were 100 years ago. The cows are milked every day by hand and live their very long life peacefully. On the tasting side, the raw milk cheeses will delight your taste buds: camembert, bousette, crottin, tome de vache type montagne, butter, caillade. Our new farm ice cream made with milk for ice cream and full fruit sorbets. All our products are sold at the farm, every day from 5 to 7 pm. You can also find us on the market of Excideuil and Payzac. From June to September, upon registration, we organize a special visit from 5pm to 6:30pm (12 people maximum).

In the heart of the Périgord Vert region, Le Prévert d'Aubisse has been cultivating a 2,000 m² paradise of organic flowers and edible plants for the past 4 years. Here, biodiversity reigns supreme: little tillage, living hedges, preserved wild corners? and a hundred or so species to delight the senses! From spring to autumn, restaurateurs and the curious alike find treasures here: fresh flowers, aromatic herbs, infusions, pestos, syrups, vinegars or confits? all transformed on site in a charming chalet-labo. You'll find Le Prévert at local markets and fairs, and in summer, visits are by appointment for a tasty stroll through nature and gourmet delights.

The oldest parts of the church date from the 12th and 13th centuries. It boasts a cul-de-four choir, a 17th-century bell tower and an interesting chestnut vault built in 1991. Among the furnishings: a wooden Virgin carrying the Child (12th century), a statue of St. John the Baptist, a painting depicting the death of the Virgin?

Lasveyras Bridge Memorial Trail At the site, an exhibition describes the “Pont Lasveyras Massacre”, and commemorates the 49 victims who died on 16 February 1944. The exhibition features the Resistance, the war years (1940-1945), the speech of General de Gaulle, famous men of the period, the Liberation and much more.

Conservatory of Limousin apple trees This special orchard brings together rare and ancient varieties of Limousin apple trees: Chaux, Paradis, Courtpendu, Reine des Reinettes... To safeguard this local heritage, 170 trees have been planted.
