A small detour is necessary to discover "the city with seven bell towers". At the top of a hill overlooking the green valley of the Nauze, its belvedere offers a vast panorama of the horizons of the Périgord Noir. From the village of Belves, one of the most beautiful villages in France, the city of seven steeples offers a vast panorama from the top of its belvedere. From Belvès, the relief deepens, the forest occupies the first part of the itinerary, then the views gradually open out over the Dordogne valley, which the path overlooks. "Two Summers in Guyenne, chronicle of the wayside and waterside" tells of his travels in the Dordogne. This 4th stage will take you from Belvès to Cadouin, on the way you will admire the Capelou chapel and the church of Saint Pardoux de Belvès. You will cross the forest of Béssede and at the bend of a path, stop to contemplate the dolmen of Bonarme. In Urval, do not miss the bread oven, a rare vestige of feudal life. Continue on your way and before arriving in Paleyrac, cross the hamlet of the spirits, the black crosses drawn on the doors are traces of the last great plague. You have finally arrived at Cadouin, a village with golden houses clustered around a market hall in the central square.

A former pilgrimage route of 180 kilometers from the Périgord to Rocamadour, this magnificent route is now marked out, and allows you to cross the vineyards and hills of Bergerac in complete safety, before skirting the green Dordogne valley and its cliffs, to arrive in the valley of the Ouysse. A few kilometers after Belvès, you will cross the very pretty village of St Germain de Belvès then you will arrive at Cladech, end of this stage.

Our farm welcomes you and offers you its goat's milk products: lactic cheeses, tomme and jam. These cheeses are made according to ancestral methods. The milk used is produced by our 60 goats fed with the products of our 25 Ha of land. Come and visit our farm or meet us at the markets: Tuesday at Le Bugue, Friday at Le Buisson, Saturday at Belvès and Sunday at St-Cyprien. Dogs are not allowed.
