Dès le départ, à l’arrière de l’ancien bâtiment mairie-école, une vue plongeante permet de découvrir le site pittoresque de l’église romane du 12e siècle, avec son cimetière qui l’entoure en partie. A l’image des hameaux traversés du Freysseix et de Villevaleix, une impression de calme et de sérénité se dégage de ce parcours, entre clairières et forêts.

Un éventail de points de vue s’ouvre ici, du château perché de Loubressac au site de Carennac, sur l’autre rive de la Dordogne. Au départ de Bilhac, l’église avec ses modillons historiés et le château aux origines médiévales introduisent un itinéraire qui traverse des hameaux à l’architecture quercynoise, comme Vigier ou Masdelpouch. Le moulin de la Force, contribue aussi au charme du parcours.

Our little house is located on the edge of the village of Puy d'Arnac, near a farm. Activities: hiking, mountain biking, fishing, sightseeing. Nearby: Presque caves, Neanderthal man, Collonges- la- rouge, dams, Gramat zoo, Padirac chasm, Rocher des aigles and many more. Brive-Souillac airport is 33 km away.

The "Gravières" at Argentat is a former riverbed that has been exploited by man for almost a century. Now a bubble of oxygen, it's a small sanctuary classified as a Sensitive Natural Area.
