The majestic Dordogne, tamed by its dams, offers beautiful views of the surrounding plateaux: to the north, towards Clergoux, a land studded with forests, lakes and ponds; to the south, the Xaintrie, an atypical Corrèze region with incomparable architecture, magnified by its slate roofs.

From the Moulin de l'Hospital, your ascent will take you to the plateaux of Chapelle-Saint-Géraud, where you will be rewarded by the panoramic views from the villages of Chamet and La Grange, typical of the Xaintrie region. You then return to the valley through the undergrowth.

Starting from the village of Monceaux-sur-Dordogne, and following the traces of an ancient trade route, you will reach the plateaus to go back down into the valley following the stream of Malfarge.

From the village of Chadiot, a "sporting" climb will take you through our beautiful Corrèze forest.

From the Dordogne, a beautiful climb of more than 300 m will lead you to superb points of view on this beautiful river but also on the surrounding plateaus and in particular that of Roche de Vic.

The mining past of Argentat is little known. You will be able to discover the vestiges during this walk in the middle of the woods.
