A 91 km loop that takes you through our region, passing close to the Dordogne Gorges. Remarkable sites, wild gorges, a wealth of heritage: that's what you'll have the chance to discover on the GRP Entre Dordogne et Ventadour.

Between Lake La Valette and Longy, enjoy the woodland atmosphere, where mushrooms often hide.Du pont qui enjambe le Doustre (vue sur le lac de la Valette, paradis des pêcheurs sur 230 ha), monter dans le hameau. Dans le virage, prendre le chemin qui part à gauche entre une maison et un chêne centenaire puis continuer tout droit. Le chemin domine le vallon de Rouffie. Franchir le pont (observer les pierres qui dépassent de l’eau : la loutre y laisse des reliefs de son repas appelés aussi épreintes) et monter au lieu-dit Chez-Graule. Poursuivre par la route bordée de hêtres.Au Bech, face au four à pain, bifurquer à gauche et prendre le sentier caché derrière une remise. Poursuivre en sous-bois. Emprunter la route à gauche sur 100 m, puis s’engager sur le chemin à gauche. Il mène à La Gane-du-Longy. Passer à droite de la maison, descendre par la route à gauche, franchir le pont (moulin adossé à sa retenue ou étanchade ; deux meules sont encore visibles à l’extérieur ; trop usées pour moudre, le meunier leur a offert une seconde vie comme pont) et continuer par la route jusqu’au Longy, qui domine la vallée du Doustre.À l’entrée du hameau, prendre la route à droite puis la D60E à gauche sur 250 m. Bifurquer sur le chemin à gauche. Il entre dans une futaie de hêtres. À la patte-d’oie, continuer à gauche. Le chemin longe de grandes prairies récemment installées. Laisser deux chemins à gauche, pénétrer en sous-bois et descendre tout droit vers la retenue. Poursuivre par la route qui borde le Doustre et retrouver le point de départ.

Combrignac, landing stage for pike fishing or starting point for walkers, its paved paths lead you to the hills and plateaus of the Doustre. On the Rouffie stream, a very discreet mammal leaves its epreinte on leaving the water. Made up of fish scales and bones and with a characteristic musk, this trace reveals the presence of the otter.

This circuit, in the shade of the deciduous and coniferous forests, passing through villages villages and hamlets beautifully restored, takes forest tracks and old paths lined with low walls. This itinerary invites good walkers and cyclists to discover the commune of Champagnac-la-Noaille in a gentle, undulating landscape.

And how can we talk about the Sédières estate without mentioning the splendid castle... The Sédières castle was built in the 15th century by the Bothier family, and was remodelled during the 15th and 16th centuries to become the real jewel of the Italian Renaissance heritage that we know today. Built in the 12th century, the church has been modified several times over the centuries, notably in the 19th century, when the bell tower-wall was rebuilt after the vault collapsed at an unknown date. The nave and chevet remain from the 12th century.

At our educational farm, we invite you to come and recharge your batteries as a couple or as a family in a pretty Inuit tent! Whether for one night or a longer vacation, we'll welcome you in the midst of our animals. The Inuit tent is located in the center of a small clearing, surrounded by a lovely forest. Inside the tent, you'll find a 140x190 double bed and two single beds. There is no access to electricity in the tent, but we do provide a solar charger for your nomadic devices. Cooking equipment, including a four-burner gas stove, is set up outside and sheltered, as is a picnic table A washbasin and access to drinking water are available near the tent. A few meters from the Inuit tent, dry toilets and a private shower are available.
