The Rebière-Nègre peat bog was the last in the Limousin region to be used for industrial peat extraction until the mid-1990s. A communal leisure and fishing pond was then built on its site. Finally, in 2019, the pond was cleared to return the Vienne to its original bed. Along the way, climb to the top of Le Gué and enjoy the panoramic view over the village. See the sheep cross.

Located in the heart of the Millevaches Regional Nature Park in Limousin, the town of Peyrelevade is rich in architectural, natural and landscape heritage representative of the Millevaches Plateau. With more than 1,000 kilometres of signposted circuits starting from 17 communes, the Haute-Corrèze Mountain Bike Area is the largest FFCT-labelled network in France. Links between the circuits allow you to make stages with different starting and finishing points. Routes lasting several days are possible with accommodation solutions nearby (campsites, gîtes, holiday villages, etc.). Mountain bike hire point: all year round at the Château de la Diège, in summer at Sèchemailles.

A circuit marked by water and granite: after discovering the lake of Servières (first dam on the Vienne) and crossing the village of the same name, the walk leads you to the rocks of Servières. Erosion has sculpted these strange blocks of granite, where the Vienne River flows into the gorges. You then follow a Roman road to go along the lake and go up in the state forest of Chamboux. On the way back, you can admire the bridges of Vinzannet, the Luguet mill, the Rebière Nègre peat bog and finally the Mouton cross.

The trail takes you to the Négarioux-Malsagne peat bog in the heart of the Millevaches plateau, a 201-hectare Natura 2000 site managed by the Parc naturel régional de Millevaches en Limousin. It stands to the south-west of the village, near the bridge over the Vienne, on the road to Saint-Merd les Oussines. It stands on a base carved in the shape of a crouching ram. The table, reminiscent of a small religious building with pediment and poly-lobed arches, features a Calvary on one side and a Virgin and Child on the other. The site has been restored and is now maintained by grazing.
