This is a country walk through the Ousse valley, starting from the small country town "Poey de Lescar". You will walk through the quiet streets of the village and you will take paths along the fields and in the woods, meeting the stream of the Ousse. Pleasant loop in the countryside which takes shady and cool paths in its first part, and will offer you in the second part an exceptional view of the Pyrenees. Located on the hillsides bordering the Gave, the Trou du Loup loop offers a breathtaking view of a large part of the Pyrenees chain. This loop will take you to the heart of the saligue, which designates the typical vegetation that covers all the wetlands of the Gave de Pau. After passing the "Plaine des sports", where you will find a picnic area, the scenery changes. You will find yourself in the open air in the middle of cultivated fields with a view of the Pyrenees. This peaceful interpretation trail will lead you to discover the Saligue, a typical vegetation found in the wetlands of the Gave de Pau. Along the way, you will find interpretation stations that will allow you to learn more about this heritage and its history. Halfway through the loop, you can enjoy a moment of relaxation with a picnic area and a playground for children at the Denguin sports field Departure : Siros Stadium Yellow pedestrian markings.

This loop will allow you to enjoy magnificent views of the hillsides, the Pyrenees chain and more particularly the Pic d'Anie. Bougarber became a bastide around 1380, on the orders of Gaston Fébus. As it should be, the village was organized around a central street, along which the houses were regularly aligned. The street was closed at both ends by gates, one of which, well preserved, is the pride of its inhabitants. The departure is from the parking lot of the town hall in the center of the village. In Poey de Lescar, a small Bearn village located on the outskirts of Pau. Maison Malnou is located on the edge of the main road connecting Orthez and Pau. Since 1872 the ancestors of Maison Malnou have run a traditional inn where they simmered and seasoned local specialties such as garbure and spicy red pepper ham that they cultivated, worked and dried themselves. Today, peppers are grown among vineyards, orchards and other peasant crops. Smoked or not, discover these little nuggets of flavor that combine as easily in savory or sweet cuisine. Jurançon jellies, onion confit ... so many products paired with Béarnais peppers that you can savor.

In the heart of Béarn, 15km west of Pau, you can take a break in the small village of Siros. It's an easily accessible village, very quiet. Beyrie en Béarn is a small village in Béarn that you will be able to cross during your hikes. For a break, you will find, in the grass, surrounded by trees, in a really bucolic place, 3 picnic tables and deckchairs. You have just left the path to rest for a while and you will continue your walk after this pleasant break. You will only be on the edge of the D633, so very easy access for those who travel by car and are looking for a quiet spot to stop.

Denguin is a Béarnais village located 20 km west of Pau. The picnic area has 6 tables and is located in the plain of sports . It is a shaded area on the edge of the river where young and old can enjoy the various facilities (playground, table tennis table, football stadium, sports course). The place is large, safe, away from roads and quiet.

Bougarber is a charming village 20km west of Pau. It is located on the way to Santiago de Compostela. At the entrance of the village a beautiful stone door reminds us that the village is one of the first bastides of Béarn.
