La Muletière is a spacious 130m² accommodation, with large living rooms on the ground floor, 2 bath/shower rooms, 1 separate toilet and 3 bedrooms. Please note: employees do not work on weekends, but video screens take over to show you how the machines are operated during the week.

A Renaissance Château, built in 1544 on the foundations of a feudal chateau said to belong to Semblançay, a minister to Francois 1. Site of the L'Aigle meteor shower in 1803. The outside of the chateau can be visited all year round. Guided tours of the interior are available on Heritage Days.

The current Château de La Ferté-Fresnel bears witness to a historic and artistic era, portraying all the expertise that was much cherished by Emperor Napoleon III. This place is a showcase for French ‘art-de-vivre’, and you can come and discover the history of the Château des Rêves on a guided tour with audio guide, dramatized tour, tour-show (depending on the season), commented tasting tours with 4 different wines or a safari tour of the estate on our little tourist train. Three-centuries-old plane trees in Square Eugène Pasquis. These two giants, with roots between the two arms of the River Risle, represent the wealth of the natural and cultural heritage of the town of L’Aigle. They have seen 300 years of history, and botanists say they could live for a thousand years. For local historians, these plane trees were part of the Château Park, developed between 1690 and 1730, during the reigns of Louis XIV and Louis XV. They were given the “Remarkable Trees of France” label on 4 July 2016. In July-August, “Sunday Afternoons under the Plane Trees"" at 5 pm (free): jazz, opera, brass bands, etc.

This museum recounts the decisive moments of the Normandy battle, you will discover th hard reality of the second world war. From the Appeal of June 18 to the German defeat, the museum shows through 13 recreated moments of the war, the authentic voice of the majors actors of this trouble periode. The wax figures are full scale: Marechal Petain, Le général de Gaulle, Roosevelt, Churchill, Général Leclerc.

The Museum of Musical Instruments was born from a donation from Marcel ANGOT, musician and composer from L'Aigle. Passionate, Mr. ANGOT had assembled a large collection of which the city of l'Aigle inherited in 1983. The ANGOT fund consists of about 90 musical instruments presented in a showcase. Three main themes emerge from this rich organological collection, wind instruments, stringed instruments, ethnic instruments. Original invoices and varied, these musical instruments offer a remarkable panorama of the universe instrumental past and present.

Saint-Martin church, where art from the 1930s mingles with gothic art! The building forms an original yet harmonious whole, with elements spanning five distinct eras. Its unique character is owed to its layers of architecture, spanning the 11th to 20th centuries with each age leaving its mark. The church is currently exhibiting a unique collection of inter-war art (stained glass and statues).
