This walks goes (180 °) around the Butte de la Vierge, that dominates the village of Monbahus. You will see plum and hazelnut orchards next to plots of vines, meadows with the Blondes d’Aquitaine (cows from the Aquitaine) and numerous wooded areas.

During this track, north-east of Monbahus, you will rub shoulders with herds of Blondes d'Aquitaine, you will see grove meadows, large cereal plots, plum orchards and lakes, surrounded by hills, and you will walk on the old tramway line, linking Tonneins to Fumel.

The town hall of Monbahus has developed the site of the Butte de la Vierge. The path gives you the opportunity to climb the hill, overlooking the village, to discover a 360 ° panorama. Take advantage of the wooden benches and platforms, to rest and discover the surrounding landscapes. The walk on a simple mowed strip in the meadow, will make you discover a natural habitat, with many different animal and plant species. At the top, panels will give you information about the history of the village, the water and the mills. Three orientation tables complete the information and let you discover the surrounding villages and fisheries. Sometimes you can see the Pyrenean peaks..

The area north of the village of Ségalas is shared by arable farming and plum orchards. The asphalt parts are not very frequented. It is nevertheless necessary to remain vigilant.

The departure and arrival of this circuit are on a communal road lined with orchards at the start, on a little frequented departmental road at the return. Many points of view will make you discover the many perched villages around.

This circuit crosses the small hills of Guyenne to the west of Montignac by wide open tracks on the surrounding hills or by some shaded hollow paths.

From the north-west to the south-east, this circuit around the village of Montignac-de-Lauzun allows you to discover it from all angles.

The first part of this walk follows the banks of the lake. After the passage on the second dam, the walk continues in the woods, then on the ridge path delimiting the communes of St-Colomb-de-Lauzun and Ségalas.

The lake of Graoussettes is one of the seven reserves of recharging of the Dropt which make it possible to maintain a constant low-water level for the irrigation of the lands of the valley. This circuit, with its low relief, offers no difficulty. It uses mostly wide dirt tracks.

Le Petit Tardonne is situated on the outskirts of Monbahus, in the heart of the Bastide region, 9 km from the Barthe golf course (Tombeboeuf) and 18 km from the Villeneuve sur Lot golf course. It offers a quiet, rural location with stunning views over the countryside and the meadows where our horses graze. The 1st is a suite with a 160cm bed (possibility of adding an extra bed for 1 person), bathroom with bath and separate WC. The 2nd bedroom is on the same landing and has a 160cm bed and a bathroom with walk-in shower (the WC is adjacent to the bedroom on the landing). Breakfast is available as an extra.

A small group of enthusiasts run this museum which has an extensive collection of more than 1400 objects and ancient tools..., a truly historic goldmine of agricultural trades, crafts and our past. The museum perfectly illustrates the agricultural life of our countryside and the explanations given by Ange, our guide who has a wealth of knowledge, will enable you to better understand and/or discover the daily lives of our ancestors and grandparents who worked on the farm. This associative museum offers a wonderful insight into our memories.

Located in the town hall, the Monbahus library has a wide range of local literature and also offers a large selection of books from the Réseauthèque of the Haut Agenais-Périgord community.

La Butte du moulin de la Vierge offers you a 360° panorama of the surrounding countryside with 4 orientation tables and 2 additional tables to inform you about particular themes in the village. You can also take the CEDP circuit to introduce you to landscape reading.

Probably introduced by the Romans, the Agen tulip is a rare and threatened species in France. Scarlet red, it grows in quantity in the plum orchard and vineyards. The CEN Nouvelle-Aquitaine organizes a tulip walk every year, at the end of March, to observe this wild flower that has become rare and threatened.
