Come and stay in this fishing gîte, which sleeps 7 people, located at the foot of the hiking and horse-riding trails in Haute Mayenne. The 4,500m² private fishing pond is just 50 metres from the gîte. It is ideal for leisure fishing, and is home to carp, pike, roach and perch. The pond varies in depth from 0.50m to 2.5m. You'll find carp up to 7kg, pike from 30 to 70cm and roach up to 20cm. Fishing is no-kill. If you don't fish, you can enjoy the park's shady spots under the oak and albizia trees. There is also a boules pitch, table tennis and table football for your leisure activities. The house's terrace faces south, offering a magical view of the park and fishing pond. The major attraction of the collections is the outstanding presentation of needlepoint, especially the prestigious "Point d'Alençon". The technique for making this lace has been on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list since 2010. The fine arts section has a permanent display of works from French, Italian and Scandinavian schools from the 17th to the 20th century: Boudin, Courbet, Fantin-Latour, Monanteuil, etc. Visitors will be amazed at the exceptional Cambodian collection from the last century.

The birthplace of Saint Thérèse - the house of her sainted parents Louis and Zélie - is open to visitors, giving an authentic look at how life was in those times. The guided tour follows the lives of the Martin family - Saints Louis and Zélie, Saint Thérèse de Lisieux and her sisters - through 5 locations around Alençon: the hall, with its historic gallery, the exhibition of personal items, the auditorium, the house and the chapel. A film based on family correspondence shows us family life in Alençon where she lived between 1871 and 1877. The setting recreates the atmosphere and youth of the young saint. The chapel celebrates Sainte Thérèse in sculpture and frescoes and opens into the room where Thérèse was born. It was also here that Saint Zélie drew her final breath. Le Ruchot is a large, friendly group gîte in the heart of nature, with a large veranda and panoramic terrace. It is located on the edge of the Grande Charnie forest, overlooking open meadows. You can enjoy the country views from the gîte's garden. Renovated in 2015, the gîte du Ruchot has a large, fully-equipped dining room that can accommodate up to 80 guests, a lounge area with a wood-burning stove and a fully-equipped kitchen. In terms of accommodation, the gîte can sleep 64 people in 15 bedrooms and dormitories (and up to 70 people with extra beds), spread over 2 buildings. The gîte has a total of 12 WCs and 10 showers. There is a large barbecue outside, and wood is provided for the stove.

The "Donativo" package (on presentation of the Credencial") at a minimum cost of €15: this includes accommodation at the Auditorium, bathroom and living area, with the option of meals.
