This tour takes you around Saint-Gervais-les-trois-Clochers, including the Moulin de l'Acloître and the 15th-century Château Le Plessis. Saint-Gervais-les-trois-Cloches takes its name from the three former parishes it once united: Saint-Gervais, Saint-Martin and Avrigny. Today, only the bell tower remains, but you can still see some of the remains of the other two religious buildings.

Situated on the border between Touraine and Poitou, the château fortress of Marmande reveals the evolution of a feudal fortress from the year 1000 to the present day. The Château des Ormes, located on the banks of the Vienne, was built by the Pussort brothers, Colbert's uncles, from 1642 onwards. It was acquired in 1729 by Count Marc-Pierre Voyer d'Argenson, War Minister of Louis XV, friend of Diderot and D'Alembert who dedicated the Encyclopedia to him. It housed famous guests including Voltaire.
