Your walk will take you to Lépaud, classified as a flowery village, which was the birthplace of Anders Osterlind, a famous painter who became one of the masters of Crozant's landscapes.

From the gates of the castle of Chatel-Guyon, this little circuit for walkers joins the village after a brief incursion into the woods of Viersat.

The painter Chop leads a tour of the « painting house », bathed in the colours of time, where he has lived and worked since May 1970. A reflection linking the four seasons of nature with the four stages of life. Dressed in 18th century costume on the first Sunday of each season. The painter Chop, who lives in this magical place, has been working on the theme of time since May 1970. A reflection that weaves together the four seasons of nature with the four stages of life. The house features giant figurative murals, both indoors and outdoors, furniture (such as a dreamlike four poster bed, with a changed décor every three months, covered in real foliage in Autumn), 18th century costumes for to travel and receive visitors on the first Sunday of each season, all set amidst a profusion of sumptuous fabrics and a forest of antique and contemporary candlesticks, the latter heralding a second house currently under construction, inspired by the future ! Visitors are free to take photographs or film.

The museum gathers Gallo-Roman vestiges found locally and invites to the discovery of the Gallo-Roman civilization. Collection of Gallo-Roman remains: ceramics, representations of divinities, columns, frescoes, everyday objects. Free visit only. Located near the Romanesque church and the Merovingian necropolis, this museum, housed in a noble 15th century building, completes the presentation of the city's cultural heritage. Most of the collections on display evoke the Gallo-Roman past through sculptures, inscriptions, pottery and funerary objects, which show the public and domestic life of the city's inhabitants in ancient times. Temporary exhibitions of paintings complement the permanent Gallo-Roman collections.

The Saint-Joseph de l'Espérance et du Bon Secours chapel stands on a hill on the outskirts of the spa town of Néris. Built in 1874, it has long been a place of pilgrimage. Abandoned until 2003, the municipality of Néris decided to refurbish the bell tower and the imposing 2.40 m, 1.4 ton cast-iron statue above it. With everything still to be done inside the building, an association was set up to carry out the work, look after the chapel and open it to the public. Mass is said every March 19, St. Joseph's Day, and the procession has been re-established for May 1. Thursday to Sunday, 3 pm to 6 pm, with information leaflet and board, or guided tour by prior arrangement.

Self-guided tour with information panel. The commune boasts the only listed "clocher tors" (twisted bell tower) in the entire Auvergne region. The original church (ISMH) was built at the end of the 12th century in the Romanesque style. The interior boasts fine capitals and a granite basin used as a holy-water font, set on 4 Romanesque capitals. MH. A Gothic-style chapel was added in the 16th century. The spire of the bell tower was struck by lightning in 1894, completely burning down and damaging the top of the tower. The tower was rebuilt in 1897 using timber that was too green and weak in cross-section. The type of framing used, combined with the weakness of the timbers, was certainly the main cause of the spire's rapid twisting.

Chapel overlooking the valley, view of the meander of the Tardes and the suspension bridge.Old church of a medieval village, perched on a granite hillock overlooking the Cher valley. 11th-century altar, 16th-century statue. Nearby, an old cemetery with mortuary slabs of rough stones carved with crosses.

Lassoux Woods, composed of hardwoods and softwoods, is a place where nature and planning come together. The pleasant picnic area has wooden children's games (zip line…) and the walking trail is bordered by a discovery circuit.

Self-guided visits of the grounds are available throughout the year. Inside and outside paid guided tours focusing on « SalleBrune and the Formation of the Bourbonnais region » and ”the challenge of a restoration”… The fortified stone castle was rebuilt not far from its former feudal motte « à platea », which is remarkably well preserved, and is an example of the long-term occupation of a site at the crossroads of two famous roman roads : from le Montet to Montaigut-en-Combraille and from Chantelle to Néris-les-Bains, the latter being designated the « Voie Saint-Martin ». The castle is particularly notable for its keep: a large, tall round tower dating from the 13th and 15th centuries, and a 17th century reconstruction, all beautifully integrated into a remarkable hilltop setting with expansive views. It is the starting point for numerous walking trails through the countryside. The castle is currently under restoration. The castle offers one guest room within the castle and a newly renovated cottage for four people. Listed as a Historic Monument.
