Boucle à vélo N°26 : Sur les traces d’illustres personnages

This tour goes through the countryside, passing through places full of history. You will see the exterior of the Fressineau castle, listed as a Historic Monument. It is one of the only ones in Creuse to have a main building flanked by five towers and surrounded by a moat. You will also follow in the footsteps of the archaeologist Jean-François Baraillon, who was the first researcher and historian in our region. Your walk will take you to Lépaud, classified as a flowery village, which was the birthplace of Anders Osterlind, a famous painter who became one of the masters of Crozant's landscapes.
