To find peace and quiet and recharge your batteries far from the big cities, this itinerary combines a walk in the woods and a stroll through the vineyards between the churches of the two parishes of Saint-Pé and Saint-Simon.

Easy route: includes a gentle climb at the start in Eauze and another in Noulens. START : Place du Bataillon de l'Armagnac, 158th RI 1. Take the road towards the racecourse (Route de Bascous) for 8 km. 2. **Do not turn** at the first sign indicating Bascous. 3. Arrive at the village of Bascous, then head towards Noulens for 1.5 km. 4. Turn left (short but steep climb) and reach the “Yield” sign. 5. At this sign, turn right towards the racecourse and return to Eauze. **Points of interest:** * La Bergeyre Racecourse * Church of Noulens * Château de Bascous

The Gers Department manages 35 km of this former railway line, running from Condom to Eauze. Starting point: Armagnac Greenway, Eauze – Leclerc roundabout Currently, the Armagnac Greenway connects **Condom to Lagraulet du Gers (21 km)** and **Cazeneuve to Eauze (8 km)**. Intermediate access parking lots allow you to plan stops along the way: Mouchan (km 6.6)** – with dry toilets Lauraët (km 11.7)** Lagraulet (km 18)** With long straight climbs and descents, the Greenway crosses the rolling hills of Armagnac, offering beautiful and varied landscapes. **It does not pass through villages**, so be sure to leave the Greenway to explore them and enjoy local services. **Highlights along the route:** * **Condom:** Cathedral, port, and Armagnac Museum * **Larressingle:** fortified village * **Artigues:** Roman bridge on the GR65 Saint-Jacques trail * **Mouchan:** Romanesque church and Vine & Wine Museum * **Gondrin:** churches, public park, leisure park, washhouse, and sanctuary * **Montréal:** perched bastide and nearby Gallo-Roman villa of Séviac * **Eauze:** Cathedral, medieval center, and the two Gallo-Roman archaeological sites of ELUSA (La Domus de Cieutat and the Museum) ⚠️ **Important:** The former railway line passes through the Pomiro tunnel, which is home to colonies of protected bat species. **Access to the tunnel is prohibited.**

An immemorial point of passage on the Ténarèze Roman road, this open and lively landscape is made up of woods and vineyards. You can also learn about the land in the farms, around the products of the fat, the local wines, the Armagnac and the Floc de Gascogne.

This trail takes you through a landscape of poplar groves, kiwi and hazelnut plantations, and vineyards, interspersed with small woodlands and peaceful ponds. START: Hamlet of Juglaron (take D931, then turn right towards “Pajot”) 1. Start at Juglaron (winery producing wine, Floc de Gascogne & Armagnac). Park in the winery car park. Follow the road between the vineyards heading southeast for 150 m. 2. Turn left and follow the paved road for 1.2 km towards Carpoulet (view of Cazeneuve church). Continue along the right edge of the vineyard (entering the property of La Hitaire). After 350 m, the path turns left. Follow the yellow waymarks along the vineyard. 3. Cross a ditch at the poplar plantation and immediately turn right along the vineyard edge. 4. Take the “Napoleon path” on the left for 1 km (Hitaire pond on your left). 5. At the transformers, turn left (ignore the “restricted area” sign). Cross the small pond dam. The trail winds through a small woodland (game acclimatization area). Then head right along a hazelnut plantation. 6. Follow the paved road to the left, cross the hamlet of Pajot (organic wine sales, views over Eauze), and continue straight back to Juglaron, the starting point. Tips: * Stay on the outer paths in the plantations. * Do not pick the fruit.

After the monument dedicated to the Néracais resistance fighters, you will cross the Gueyze river. You will then begin a long forest path which leads to the clearing surrounding the church of Meylan. After the town hall, alternatively sandy or sandy paths cross coniferous plantations, but also hornbeam, acacia and oak woods. Cross the Gueyze again on a two-arch bridge to reach the adjoining town hall.

In south-west France, on the border of the Lot-et-Garonne, Gers and Landes regions, in a calm and authentic setting, two stone-built outbuildings of the beautiful Mézinais farm have been converted into five guest houses. A stay at the spacious Camélia guest house, located near the Ténarèze Roman road and the Scandibérique bike trail (linking Norway to the Saint James of Compostela Way) and the Gélise river, in a natural landscape of woodland and vineyards, is an opportunity to discover the local produce and wines of the region including Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne.

In Parleboscq, in the foothills of the Landes forest, Château Tour Blanc, a very old wine estate, is run under ECOCERT and Biodynamic certified organic farming. Sandra and Philip produce a range of organic and natural wines and organic lamb The flock of ewes and lambs graze in the vineyards during the winter and provide natural fertilizer while weeding The organic lamb is raised under the mother and fed with grass only. You will find it for sale in the form of half lamb (about 10 kg) or whole lamb, cut up and vacuum-packed. Sandra also proposes you her canned lamb with white wine.
