What are the oldest European monuments? No doubt the Dolmens and Menhirs, the emblematic "monuments" of the Megalithic era. They were the work of the earliest farmers and breeders living in Neolithic Europe, the last prehistoric period.

You can see the Divols and Abrits dolmens on this circuit that’s accessible for the whole family. P – From the car park, head towards the sign Les Mourgues. Les Mourgues - Follow Coste de Boucher () 1,6 km. Coste de Boucher - Follow Les Divols 1,1 km. Les Divols - Follow Les Mourgues 1,4 km.

Hike to the ancient Castelviel Oppidum, on the heights of Aiguèze

A short walk to do with the family starting from the hamlet of Chadouillet in the town of Saint-André-de-Cruzières. P – From the Place du Planet, go to the signpost for Chadouillet. Chadouillet - Follow Les Courpatières 1,3 km ().Take the first left on the Chanisse path. Continue on the small tarmac road that becomes a track. Cross the bridge and follow the path bordered by low walls. Les Courpatières - Follow Carissoules 0,5km. Take the path on the right, then on the left to go down through the oak trees towards the Cotepatière resurgence. When you reach the river bed, follow it for a few metres on the left, then go up a path on the right. Carissoules - Follow Chadouillet 0,9km. Turn right onto the path from which you can see the bell tower of Saint-André-de-Cruzières, and return to the starting point

A walk that showcases pastoral constructions: walled pens, capitelles (drystone huts), faïsses (terraced cropland), mazets (southern one-room stone houses on farmland) and water troughs as well as splendid panoramic views. Signposts will guide you all along this route. In the description below, the signposted place names and/or directions are given in bold italics between quotation marks:Starting from "SAINT-BRÈS", head towards "VILLAGE" and then "DIEUSSE", via "Coste de Bonne". Continue on "Chemin Royal" till you reach "LES REMPARTS DE DIEUSSE", then continue via "Mas de la Pommière", "La Croisée" and "La Digue" to "SERRE DE GAJAC". Admire the views from here to "La Rochette". The enchanting Bois de Païolive is one of the Ardeche’s strangest curiosities. This ancient oak forest of exceptional heritage value with its landscape and biodiversity is a natural labyrinth.  P – From Les Clairières car park, follow the green signs.     Les Clairières car park - Follow the sign to Circuit de la Vierge 0,1 km.

The Concluses de Lussan is an exceptional site, with its rugged, lunar appearance. The extraordinary view of the rocky escarpments and cavities in the river bed give the site its full measure and splendor. Start at the Concluses parking lot in Lussan. Follow the trail downhill to the Portail des Concluses, the trail’s final stop. Return by the same route. The ecosystem, geology, and human settlement are among the topics illustrated by interpretive panels along the trail. From April through October, depending on rainfall, the stream bed may be dry. In that case, you can follow its course on foot and enjoy a beautiful walk in the heart of nature.

Beaches of the Cèze : If the lapping of the water makes you long for a swim, let yourself be tempted! The Cèze offers 3 beaches in Méjannes-le-Clap alone. The Roy, Terris and Quittard beaches are equipped with picnic tables, bowling alleys, horse and bicycle racks and parking facilities. So you can spend summer days with your family by the river in comfort, in an exceptional natural setting. ATTENTION: These beaches are not supervised. Your children swim under your responsibility. Although accessible all year round, we advise against visiting the river banks in wet weather: the banks are flood-prone.
