Gandoulès is renowned for its bells which ring every hour adding an authentic touch to your stay. You will be lulled by their gentle tinkling, from 7 a.m., creating a soothing atmosphere conducive to relaxation. Martine and her children have designed the gîte with this in mind: a beautiful garden area with furniture for your meals in the open air, and on the inside, a cozy lounge in front of the wood stove, a kitchen equipped to prepare good meals for you , two pretty bedrooms and a bathroom with separate toilet. Would you like to meet people and be friendly during your stay? Every first Sunday of the month, you can watch bread being made in the hamlet's wood-fired oven as well as breakfast, shared with the Friends of Gandoulès in the old stable. The sheep and donkeys in the neighboring pasture will be delighted with your visit. In short, the place is ideal for your vacation with family or friends. You are here in the heart of the southwest orchard, a stone's throw from beautiful tourist sites like Montpezat-de-Quercy, the city of hats, the Gorges de l'Aveyron, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Bruniquel, Lauzerte, Moissac, Najac, Cordes on Ciel... but still!

A favorite stop on the road to St Jacques de Compostela. Lauzerte country house high in the Quercy Blanc 39 km northwest of Montauban, Tarn-et-Garonne, the house of Lauzerte overlooks a landscape of southern colors, ranks among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France" and is a necessary stop on the road to St Jacques de Compostela. Originally, Hill was a Gallic oppidum Lauzerte. Its present name dates from around the year one thousand. From the Latin "lucerna" lamp, it means a great position visible from afar like a light. At the end of the twelfth century, the Count of Toulouse received the hill donation to build an Castelnau, protected by a castle town. The foundation of a strategic and economic interest, was an immediate success. Two hundred building lots were distributed to settlers, attracted by the freedoms granted.
