The parish of Sainte Marie Madeleine d'Aussac is known since the beginning of the 11th century. The presence of a site from the early Middle Ages, nearby, suggests an even older existence. The church was rebuilt in the 15th century, after the long Franco-English conflict, as shown by the angel bearing the coat of arms of the kings of France. The plan adopted is very characteristic of the reconstructions of this period: single naves, side chapels... Some remains of wall paintings from the late Middle Ages have been uncovered.

Gandoulès, a small haven of peace The small church of Saint-Pierre de Gandoulès, a jewel of Romanesque art (12th century), a visible witness to the history of the Quercy Blanc, is home to a real heritage treasure with one of the rare bells dating from the 14th century and still working in Occitania.
