The Moulin has been redesigned by an architect to offer spacious accommodation in every room, with bay windows to take advantage of the waterfall and the landscape. The two stone buildings are linked by a glass roof and completely surrounded by wooden terraces. They can accommodate up to 10 people. On the ground floor, the living area - 58m² - is very bright and features a lounge area with large sofas, widescreen TV and pellet stove, a large dining table and an open-plan fitted kitchen, a utility room (washing machine, tumble dryer). Optional: cleaning (120€), if you do not select this option when booking, a cleaning cheque must be deposited on arrival and returned at the end of your stay if the cleaning is completed. The amazing story of Biscuiterie Jeannette The story of Biscuiterie Jeannette began in 1850 with the creation of a small cookie factory by Monsieur Mollier. In the first half of the 20th century, Lucien Jeannette came up with the idea of the madeleine. The cookie factory's heyday came in the 70s and 80s, with nearly 40% of the French cookie market. Numerous resales of Normandy's oldest cookie factory led to a steady decline in business. In December 2013, Biscuiterie Jeannette went into liquidation and all employees were made redundant. Around twenty employees decided to occupy the factory to prevent it from being dismantled and to look for a potential buyer. This struggle paid off, and a participative financing campaign saved the cookie factory. In September 2015, Biscuiterie Jeannette relaunched its new production of high-quality artisanal madeleines. After a few upheavals, the history of one of France's oldest cookie factories lives on, as does its know-how. Today, the traditional scallop-shaped madeleine with pure Isigny PDO butter is the pride and joy of an entire region.

The Pegasus Memorial Museum, located between Caen and the sea, tells the story of when the very first liberators from the British 6th Airborne Division landed on Norman soil on the night of the 5th to the 6th of June 1944. The bridges of Ranville and Bénouville were recaptured in the early hours of the night of the 5th to the 6th of June 1944 by the British 5th Parachute Brigade, whose emblem was Pegasus. The bridge over the canal was renamed Pegasus Bridge in memory of this great military feat. Free access to the site, visit free of charge.
