The building dates from the 14th and 15th centuries. The choir is flat-bottomed and a bell tower-porch is located at the front of the monument.
The building houses a high altar with an altarpiece featuring twisted columns. The immediate surroundings of the church were occupied in Roman times by buildings, the remains of which were identified in 1829.
