On the way down, you'll take in the town center, then head for Rivière-Saint-Sauveur, Gonneville-sur-Honfleur, and finally Equemeauville. The end of this loop takes you along the Bois du Breuil. Between land and sea, this loop will delight your eyes with its diversity! The loop is signposted in both directions by a red dot bearing the number 14.

Caution! Path impassable due to storm Goretti! Near Honfleur and Saint Gatien des Bois, the village of Fourneville offers you a walk through the Orange valley that will take you to a lesser-known part of Calvados. The Orange is the river that runs through Fourneville and along which you can enjoy a peaceful stroll. You can stop off at the wash-house. The builders of the time (13th century) constructed a structure in the image of a boat, no doubt bearing witness to the maritime past of this little river that flows into the sea. You'll pass through woods and pastures - nature lovers beware!

The Manoir du Désert, listed as a Monument Historique in 1928, was built for the Le Danois brothers, a family of shipowners from Honfleur. It is representative of the noble architecture of the late Middle Ages in the Pays d'Auge. Its materials and structure bear witness to the skills and importance of the building at the time. The first floor is composed of a checkerboard pattern of limestone and flint. The upper floor is timber-framed. A staircase turret is attached to the main façade. The lookout room at the top was used to keep an eye on the Seine estuary. This room contains numerous marine graffiti. Owned by Mademoiselle TURGIS in the 1920s, it became the property of the City of Honfleur in the 1970s following a donation by the Société du Vieux Honfleur, Mademoiselle TURGIS's legatee. It was recently restored by the town in 2021. The manor house can only be visited on certain occasions. We offer one guided tour per month during the season (full price: 6 ? reduced price: 4 ?). The manor is also open for special events such as Pierres en Lumières, JEP, open-air cinema and dramatized tours (full price: 10? / reduced price: 6?).

This space is an invitation to stroll, a haven of tranquillity right in the heart of Honfleur's historic centre. A blend of history, culture and strolls along the water's edge, with a Zen feel that inspires serenity. Situated on a branch of the River Claire, the garden features a number of promontories and vantage points overlooking the waterway, all of which are showcased to maximum effect. This 7,000m² urban park was designed and laid out by various municipal departments: gardeners, masons, carpenters, electricians, etc. The technical services teams were careful to re-use materials found on site to carry out the restorations, so the low walls retain a vestige appearance. During the renovation work, the remains of the old tanneries were uncovered. This activity was set up in this location to take advantage of the two rivers. You can now admire the dyers' vats and a whole network of canals in the garden. The works of Annick Leroy The artist Annick Leroy has been asked to create works of art that relate to the site. In a town that has inspired so many artists, Michel Lamarre, the Mayor of Honfleur, wanted to put art at the heart of the area to give it an extra soul. So Annick Leroy created a mosaic fresco recalling the work of the guild of tanners and dyers. She also designed two fountain sculptures: -4 geese spitting water -a child with an umbrella and a giant snail covered in mosaic.
