Departing from Molsheim, this bike ride will give you a great overview of the beauty of the Vosges Moyennes. The tour leaves Molsheim, home of the Bugatti bloodline, and follows the Bruche to Mutzig, then the railroad from Grsswiller to Heiligenberg. It then enters the intimate, green Magel valley, passing through Mollkirch and Grendelbruch to the Rothlach, not far from the Champ du Feu, following small, low-traffic roads with a certain cachet. The route then passes close to the Centre Européen du Résistance Déporté and the notorious Struthof concentration camp. From Natzwiller, the cyclist follows the pretty Rothaine valley. At Rothau, the gradient eases a little to join the VéloBruche, an essential cycle route that irrigates Schirmeck and the valley, mostly on its own right-of-way. At Urmatt, the route bends towards the Nideck and Hasel valleys, where a visit to the Collégiale Saint-Florent de Niederhaslach is a must. Cyclists continue towards Wangenbourg-Engenthal, nicknamed the Switzerland of Alsace because of its similar landscapes and scattered settlements. A visit to the Château, which is easily accessible, is a must before moving on to Cosswiller and its heliodome, and Wasselonne and the Kronthal valley. The last part of the route takes you along the northern part of the Wine Route, established along the slopes of the Mossig. Don't miss the fortified villages of Wangen and Westhoffen before returning to Molsheim.

Museum Gaspar is housed in the residence of the middle-class family Gaspar from Arlon who had set up in this house (1893) that was built in 1842. It was renovated in 2004. The two most famous members of this family are animal sculptor Jean-Marie Gaspar (1861-1931) and Charles Gaspar (1971-1950) who was a photographer and a sponsor. He gave his house to the town of Arlon on the condition they make a museum of it, dedicated to his brother's work and that put into honour the history and the heritage of Arlon. At the first floor, theree are two restored salons identical to a middle-class salon from the early 20th century that show Jean-Marie Gaspar's sculptures. and the art and picture collection of Charles Gaspar. The rest of the first floor is dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the museum that alternates artv and history. A religion room shows collections about the abbey of Orval and to the people's devotion at the 18th century, and also relics from the ancient Saint-Martin church. But the Masterpiece is the famous altarpiece Retable de Fisenne - a 16th century masterpiece from the Antwerp school. It was bought in 1893 by a middle-class family from Arlon, the family Gaspar. Jean Gaspar (1861-1931) was a sculptor. He was trained by the Antwerp sculptor Jef Lambeaux. His works are in bronze and in plaster and they are exhibited in the salons that have been restorated as they were in his house. His brother Charles (1871-1950) was a photographer, a collector and a sponsor. He gave this house to the town of Arlon. It hosts the library of the Archaeological Institute of the Belgian Province of Luxembourg and its secretary office since 1954. A wide part of the museum is also dedicated to temporary exhibitions about art and history of Arlon.

Rich in the Gallo-Roman past of Arlon, the museum houses an impressive collection that bears witness to the daily life of this period.One of the peculiarities of the museum is its imposing and rich lapidary collection, composed of several dozen fragments of ancient funerary monuments.These blocks and the objects from Roman craftsmanship will teach you more about daily life at that time.

A tympanum, representing St. Martin sharing his cloak with a beggar, adorns this late Gothic style steeple from 1523. The nave and the chorus were added in 1766. Outside the building, embedded in the perimeter wall of the former churchyard, is a small holy Sepulcher from the 15th century.

The Wurmberg is a safe haven for many species of plants and animals. Through fallow lands, meadows and orchards, the hiker will discover the distinctive landscape of the Vosges foothills. The terraces, arranged at different levels of the hillside, shelter rare types of orchids, such as the Aster Amellus, the Gentianopsis Ciliata, or the Aquilegia. In the hedges, are hiding badgers, red-backed shrikes and sparrows. The orchards, bearing ancient varieties of fruits, are the favorite refuge of wrynecks and insects.

Sitting at the foot of the Felsbourg, this chapel was originally dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Inside can be seen remnants of frescoes which used to decorate the choir and the nave. The current title of "St. Wendelin" has taken the place of "Virgin Mary" between the 17th and 18th centuries. At the time, sickness and epidemics were legion among farm animals; poultry and cattle alike. Thus, many believers called upon the protection of the Patron Saint of herdsmen. The parish council of Mutzig bought the chapel in 1885.

This Neoclassical church, built between 1828 and 1832, has been entirely renovated due to a fire in 1987. Since then, the church has been closed to the public but remains open for service attendance.

A small sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary and which was mainly frequented by pregnant women and people suffering from ringworm. Its date of construction remains a mystery but it might be from the 17th century. The chapel has been renovated in 1972.

This funny little private garden was created by artists. All the sculptures have a story to tell like the little hut with its stained glass windows represents in fact the house of the witch of the tale "Hansel and Gretzel". There is also the bird of fear, the statue of the man who empties his belly, the ball of wool of Penelope etc

In the Jubilee Year of 1875, a golden cast iron statue of the Madonna and Child was built on the Schiebenberg Hill (at a 317 m / 1,040 ft altitude), on a stone pedestal. To access the site and enjoy a wonderful viewpoint, schedule a two-hour hike from the town center.

The statue is located above the village of Dinsheim sur Bruche. A magnificent panorama is offered to you on the Bruche Valley about twenty kilometers of Strasbourg. On July 18, 1875, was erected on the hill of Schiebenberg (alt. 317m) a statue of the Virgin with the Child, in gilded cast iron, put on a stone base. It was erected as a sign of thanksgiving because in the 1870s, the mayor, the priest and the sexton were arrested by the Prussians for supposed connivance with the enemy. In reality, the ringing of the Angelus coincided with an attack by the Franks on Mutzig, which was unfortunately interpreted as a warning signal by the Prussian staff. The inhabitants were later released from their duties and were thankful to Christ. To get up on the hill and enjoy the magnificent view, plan on a 2-hour walk from the center of the village and the way back. Several hiking possibilities to reach the statue are proposed from the village center.

This side-gabled Baroque chapel, also known as the "Heilig Hiesel" (the Little Holy House), is rumored to be the work of a paralyzed Lutherian who managed to walk again thanks to a pilgrimage. It is supposed to have been built in 1745 by the Order of the Recollects on the site of an oratory, right next to a former convent and its chapel, the Chapel of Our Lady of Lorette. Originally, a statue of the Mater Dolorosa stood in a niche and overlooked the entire village of Hernolsheim. Only the vestibule of the chapel can be visited.
