Departing from Merlerault, this 58-km cycle route will challenge the most athletic. As the kilometres go by, twists and hills punctuate this Orne cycleway.

Take a walk to discover the ponds belonging to the former abbey and, thanks to a diversion, walk through some of the undergrowth of the remarkable Saint-Evroult forest, where the monks have sought solitude for centuries.

Departing from Saint Evroult Notre Dame du Bois, this 54-km circuit will guide you in the footsteps of the monk who founded the first Abbaye d'Ouche in the 7th century.

In the land of horses and stud farms, discover the prestigious Haras National du Pin site, known as the “Versailles for horses”.

At the departure of the most important tourist attraction of Orne, you discover "Le pays Hiémois" and villages of Gouffern en Auge. The village of Exmes, peak of the route is rich of built heritage. During this ride, comeback to the 17th and 18th century.

Departing from the Haras National du Pin (stud), this 29-km bike ride is a great way to experience the heart of horse-breeding country. On this bike ride, take the opportunity to stop at the Haras du Pin, the “Versailles for Horses” in the Orne in Normandy.

At the center of the route is Le Pot-à-Beurre, a nod to the Countess of Ségur who found in the plain of Aube, dominated by the high forests of the Parc des Nouettes, the source of her inspiration.

View of the battlefield A 4-km long natural barrier of hills ends the plain of Trun. This geological and topographical particularity played a crucial role in the outcome of the Battle of Normandy. Also known as the “cuesta”, its sunny slopes are home to flower meadows with a great diversity of flora and fauna, where several rare species of orchid, gentian and bellflower thrive. The high points provide stunning panoramas over the peaceful Vallée de la Dives as well as an understanding of the setting of the terrible battles that took place there.

From Chambois to the Montormel Memorial, the route follows the paths where, in the summer of 1944, thousands of men died for the freedom of our country.

Departing from Cambois, this circuit will take you to the strategic sites of the Battle of Normandy in the Poche Falaise-Chambois. This 26-km circuit passes Chambois, Aubry-en-Exmes and Tournai-sur-Dives where the battle ended, then Moissy, Saint-Lambert sur Dives, Coudehard, to finish at the Memorial at Mont-Ormel. The Mont-Ormel memorial, not to be missed, provides a detailed understanding of this historical circuit, and the course of the battle.

This museum is the work of a passionate who presents here the result of his acquisitions. These minerals and fossils in their different stages of crystallization, with their sparkling colors, shape and so particular aspect, will delight the visitor whether or not they are expert. History of the life of The Lady of the Camellias, from her birth in Orne to her glorious years in Paris and her early death. The Lady of the Camellias through movies, theater, opera, books, dance ad TV. Slide shows and many documents, belongings, illustrate the life of the woman who inspired the most prestigious artists of her time (Alexandre Dumas son and Verdi for his Traviata). In the last room, a movie shows the myth of the lady through artist from the past or nowadays (La Callas, E. Feuillère, I. Adjani, I. Hupper ...) EXxhibition of costumes (Traviata).
